Denny Hairdressing Manchester

I had a Brazilian blow dry via groupon. The staff are so friendly and my stylist was informative about the treatment but no hard sell on products as some reviews had said for other salons, he gave advice on what to use and that was it. I am rebooking for the end of March advice as I have saved time and money on not having to buy products. My hair is just on my shoulder and the treatment took 90 mins. Salon is in a basement so people with mobility issues may find it difficult to access.

Had my hair done today by a lovely person at Denny's not only was she so friendly but she did an amazing job of my hair. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back.

I've been meaning to write a review for Denny's after every visit there, but I've just been too lazy!

However, after another really great experience there- I feel it's well overdue.

As I can't mention staff members by name, I'll just say that the stylist I see is always so friendly and approachable, meaning I actually feel comfortable to ask for the exact cut I want.

I haven't once walked out of Denny's feeling anything other than made up with my hair, and at such a good price- I've paid 3 times as much before for cuts that haven't had anywhere near as much care taken (with a fringe, this is important!) from a surly stylist.

Can't recommend enough.

pretty horrible experience I went there for a keratin hair treatment and I was running late but phoned ahead and was told its ok to turn up I was faced by a screaming hairdresser at me who was so obnoxious that everyone stopped and stared. He was beyond rude about my hair and actually slightly racist ..not a good experience . in the end I ended up with the loveliest student blow drying my hair and apologizing for the rude hair dresser telling me ' he is always like that ' . So if you want get your hair done fair enough, but if you want to be treated really badly then this is the place to go. The boss unfortunately wasn't there that day otherwise would have made a complaint

I went to a Denny's hairdressers in Manchester, I paid £130 for extensions which lasted less than 5 days because of the pain and itching it gave me. Luckily I had bonding glue removal dissolver.

The stylist glued the extensions on my scalp but says that she put it as close to the scalp as possible without touching it. But it was definitely on my head, my scalp could not breathe properly at all, it caused so much itching and pain but they say that it is normal for some discomfort.

The hair extensions themselves were also very poor quality, they could not be brushed at all, the hair simply just came off. The glue she used was Salon Pro Exclusives Hair Bonding Glue worth £1.50... and it clearly states at the back to not put the glue on the scalp as it causes allergic reactions.

When I went to complain they weren't really being helpful, they tried to make me sound like I was stupid, but i payed so much for really poor quality extensions that caused me so much pain.

Extremely cheap products and very un-helpful staff. Don't know what they are doing. Would never go there again. My hair is damaged now.

i loved this salon very down to earth and the styilist where lovly and really took care of 10/10 from me i would recommend it to any one who want a down to earth salon with a good price range !! xx

Denny Hairdressing Manchester offers very cheap prices but I think the styling reflects this, the highlights given were not what I expected and when finished my hair looked exactly the same, and the roots were not covered up at all.

I've just been to Denny's for the first time and that's the best experience I've had going to the hairdressers. Denny's service was so personal he even washed my hair himself! It's really friendly and down to earth. Denny spent great care on my cut and I'm really pleased with it.

I've been using the same h/dresser for 15 years and decided I needed a change. I did lots of research on internet to find the 'right one' without the extortionate prices and I found that with Denny. Denny himself was great and listened very carefully to what I wanted from my cut and got it bang on. I told the colourist I'd be led by her as to what would suit me best and it was lovely - I've had loads of friends tell me how fab my new cut/colour is and asking me who did it. I have already made my second apt so if like me you're wanting a new hairdresser, I wouldn't hesitate to give Denny a try!!!

Very friendly stylist at Denny, who was down to earth and really got to the bottom of what I wanted from my cut.

The cut was FANTASTIC! I've not had that good a cut in YEARS, and he actually Blow-Dried my hair rather than just straightening it. Which when I write it down, sounds quite strange, but I've been going to several different "top" salons around Manchester for the last few years, and the stylists are just plain lazy, they blast the hair off and then straighten, but not at Denny's - they blow it PROPERLY. I had my hair done on Friday afternoon, and I didn't have to wash or re-style it until Sunday night! Now that... is a good blow-dry!

The salon is really conveniently placed being just off Deansgate on Bridge Street, and for those who drive into the city centre, it's perfect as there's a carpark on Bridge Street where you can usually find a space.

I can safely say I'll be going back to Denny's, and will be happy to recommend it to anyone who needs a good cut and colour.
