Do Not Use This Garage

PLEASE PLEASE Do not go anywhere near this garage! Sold me a car that was not road worthy!! I went here as a woman on my own Hoping for great service, terrible customer service, rudeness and basically could not care

Warning

*WARNING*

It is important to be aware of this Sparshatts branch in Havant. They sold us an unreliable vehicle and a complete nightmare.

We noticed an issue involving the vehicle's sat-nav on the very day we first examined it. It was not retracting properly, remaining open as it should.

In addition to the signed agreement, we also received written confirmation that the garage would be responsible for repairing the audio system of the car. In the following week, the audio system failed, leading to the car being returned.

One month later, Sparshatts Group Ltd realised the entire audio system in the Audi was defective, and as a result, its replacement would cost £3000.

Sparshatts then attempted a shoddy backstreet repair that lasted only a few days and caused even more electrical problems.

We were at this point able to conclude that the vehicle would have to be rejected under FCA guidelines because our first attempt to repair it had failed. This led to its final return.

At that time,The Havant branch manager told us the vehicle could be exchanged under the agreement, and we should then search for a more suitable car on Sparshatts Group's website. We found three cars that were similar in value to the Audi, plus and minus a few hundred pounds.

The agreement had already been paid twice by this time, and we were in the third payment period.

Despite being already contracted with one finance company, Sparshatts Group Ltd Havant took another month and attempted to sign us up with yet another before we were informed.

Sparshatts Havant made buying a car miserable and disappointing for us.

The finance company had no knowledge that the vehicle had been rejected, and they were preparing to file a complaint with Sparshatts Group to recover the full amount. They expected the process to take about a month.

Despite this, Sparshatts provided a courtesy car to us during this time as part of their "customer service." We did not need the courtesy car since we still owned the previous vehicle. The manager was quite insistent that they fulfil their obligations in terms of customer service.

By the end of the agreement, we had made three payments and were without a vehicle. Blue Motor finance received a full refund; however, Sparshatts was adamant that a free courtesy car would be provided, so we would be charged for the full price of what we had paid already for the Audi.

As a result, I urge people to think twice before doing business with this company.

Worst Company I Have Ever Dealt With

I have never dealt with any company less professional in my life. Absolutely terrible service from start to finish if you can call it finished. I have been mislead for the last month. Once they have your money, that's where the customer service ends. Constant calls to them felt like banging my head against brick wall. I'm still owed £300 worth of equipment. No SD card with the car although it was advertised with one and I was promised it came with one before signing. They tried to fob me off with an Ebay knock off which they ordered when they couldn't find the original. The manager said they use these for most of their cars there as it saves them money....god knows what happens to the original cards of other cars too. When I approached the car manufacturer, they said using knock off SD cards could lead to problems with the cars electrics..It also clearly states that 3rd party cards should not be used in the car manual....I made it clear that this was the case. After a while of frustrating conversations I thought I had a breakthrough, they agreed to order me an official SD card from the manufacturer....After 2 weeks of chasing them the SD card came. Great I thought.....Where was it from...Ebay! Take your money elsewhere. Dealt with them for the last month and have got nowhere. complete waste of time. Still wasting more time trying to warn honest hard working customers about them. It seems very hard to leave bad reviews on Autotrader. I can only assume that this is why Havant Sparshatts have such good reviews on that site. Dig a little deeper on other review sites and you will see the truth. Plenty of customers out there with bad experiences with these guys. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Hi there, I feel you pain and frustration. I two have had my fair share of banging my head against the wall. I remain out of pocket by the sum of £600.00.

I even contacted the ceo. He couldn't even give me the courtesy of a reply.

Good Selection Of Cars And Excellent Staff

Found a VW Tiguan through Autotrader from Sparshatts of Havant. Slightly surprised to find on arrival that the sticker on the window showed a price of around £1000 more than on Autotrader but it was explained to me that this price includes a care and insurance package. I opted out of this but still have a 3 month guarantee and free MOTs. I am delighted with the car which has clearly been well looked after and it was well presented and a preferred colour. The staff were friendly, professional and went out of the way to be helpful and put their customers at ease. I traded in my old Passat and they gave me a trade in price well over the book price in spite of a small rust blister over the front wheel arch which I had pointed out. They also waived the 2 percent credit card charge because they had not informed me about this when we were agreeing the figures. Overall a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to recommend Sparshatts of Havant.
