This as to be the worst dealer in Plymouth had two brand-new cars from them on mobility and both had to go back with problems non-existent customer service ignored calls. Car always came back with bird poo all over it and the second time it came back with damage no calls to resolve the issue, this place is a joke, strongly recommend you don’t get a car from these guys or service your car

Disgruntled And Dissatisfied Customer

When I purchased a van just under 12 months ago, I was impressed with how polite and pleasant the staff were. The company are certainly happy to do a deal and take your money but the after sales care is poor to almost non-existent. Within 5 weeks of purchasing the vehicle problems started occurring and almost 12 months down the line some of these still have not been rectified. Promises to ring with updates are made but until they are chased, no contact is forthcoming. And when you do speak to an employee it feels like you are just being fobbed off with excuses. As a self employed person, each time the vehicle has to be returned to Plymouth, a round trip of approx 120 miles and a day out of a working week, earnings are lost. I would certainly think seriously about purchasing from Vospers again.

Alfa Romeo Purchase

In February 2021 I purchased a second hand 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia veloce from them with low mileage. The following morning the battery was completely flat. I called Alfa assist and they sent out a mobile technician who was able to get the car running and advised me (after checking the battery) that the battery was in very low state of charge and should be replaced and not to accept the car back without a new battery. I then called Vospers of Exeter to explain what had happened and that I was going to return the car straight away to have the problem rectified. Basically, they tried to tell me that I would have to wait until Monday (this was a Saturday morning). I told them that I was bringing it back to them straight way and that I was not impressed with their immediate response.

They had the car for a few days and traced the drain problem to a faulty switch. They didn't replaced the battery (don't ask!) and they said it was OK. However, I had no end of problems with that battery but no way was I going back to them as I didn't like their 'couldn't care less' attitude. I will NEVER use the Vospers group again

A Refreshing Experience

Vospers Abarth in Exeter: we wanted to test drive the Abarth model. Representative looked after us and it was a hugely refreshing experience discussing a car purchase with a woman. She was an extremely knowledgable about the various Abarth models and we duly took 3 for a test drive. She provided us with all the relevant information. She was patient and considerate particularly when we decided to take a bit more time before making a decision, in no way did she push or try to persuade us.

Of particular note for me was her understanding of why I had come to the decision to wait a bit longer for the right car. I personally thank representative for her thoughtful and courteous approach to her job.

Very Best Of Service

Agent at Newton Rd Torbay was extremely helpful, he even took me to a Post Office to pay the car tax.

I Handnt been to a car dealership for many years, but this was a pleasurable experience, after my own car was written off in an accident

He pointed out the controls on the day and even sent me an email a few days later to ask how I was getting on with the car, and suggested that I contact him if I needed more help.

A real asset to Vospers !

Poor Poor Service

I have been using Vospers Ford for many years now and each year I forget at how woeful their service is.

I booked my car in for a Service & MOT explaining I need it back to be able to collect my children from school.

I arrived at the Ford Service area and the automatic doors won’t open so I stand there like a lemon for 5-10 minutes.

Eventually I walk all the way around the building and go in the other side. I explain this to the lady who had been looking straight at me for 5 minutes who said oh yea, that was my job to let you in, I was on the phone.

I reiterate that I need the car back by 2pm and am told no problem. To speed the process up I authorise any work that may need doing.

But I get a call at 10:45 saying I need 2 new tyres. No problem I say. See you at 2.

Upon collecting the car at 2, I’m told no, sorry car not ready. At least an hour and a half. MOT not done blah blah blah.

If I had been told at 10:45 this would hold things up, fair enough, but no mention.

I have this or similar problems every single year for the past 8 years.

With my 2 cars and my mums which I look after for her, we spent thousands on this shocking service.

We were about to buy two new cars next month, a Ford Mustang and a new 4x4.

Not a hope now.

No one cares about customer service there.

There will be a few pennies allowed off the bill as always from a faceless manager, but the damage is done!!

Avoid Vospers at all cost!!!!
