Harassed By Them Because Of Previous Occupiers Bills

Harassed by receiving letters from them because of previous occupiers bills

Charged to wait on phone line for call to be cancelled after 15 mins

FUCR

Diabolical Customer Service

The letter does not say how much you owe and who to.

you can never get through on the telephone number provided (always high volume of calls crap!)

The email address provided doesn't appear to be valid.

I left a message for them to call me back at a certain time and they never did.

they keep sending me texts to phone them. if they were legit they would leave a voicemail. I am going to report them to the FSC

Bullies!

Here's my situation: I am in a fair bit of debt and due to a bout of ill health in early 2015 I am now on welfare desperately trying to find employment. I contacted StepChange Debt Charity regarding my circumstances and they were happy to help, very caring and understanding.

In December 2015 I was made homeless, through no fault of my own - it was over a health and safety issue. This voided my Tocum Payment Phan with StepChange and a new Temporary Payment Plan had to be arranged. In the meantime I received a very threatening text message from Capital Resolve, at the time I had no idea what it was regarding. So I called the number, Capital Resolve explained it was over a debt, so I explained my situation - jobless, homeless, down & out and dealing with StepChange. End of that...or so I thought...

All this happened around the 19/12/2015. TODAY I have received 2 x text messages & 1 x email from Capital Resolve, all were of a threatening nature. So I called them and asked what they were playing at. The man on the phone explained I'd had 30 days to resolve the payments to my creditor which I hadn't done. I replied with firstly there was this small thing called CHRISTMAS where everything shuts down - Capital Resolve INCLUDE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS IN THEIR 30 DAYS!!! Then I went on to say that I am still with StepChange and am happy with this and that I had only just received my new plan after Crimbo. The horrible man then threatening me with 'debt recovery' if I didn't offer my card details there and then!! I hung up on him and will never be calling them again.

They are nothing but bullies! I am not even dealing with Capital Resolve yet they still harass me? This is just wrong.

Incompetent And Insensitive

Earlier this year a Case Worker assisted me to set up a Payment Plan which was agreed with Capital Resolve.

Despite making the payments on time, each month I have been harassed and threatened with legal action or Debt Recovery Officers.

How can a company be so incompetent thast they do not record payments made over their automated line, or taken by Direct Debit

My case worker explained at the time the agreement was set up that I have recently had a stroke and have been suffering from depression, however Capital Resolve take no notice of this and continue to cause me stress by harassament and threatening SMS messages, presumably automated.

Each time I ring andf confirm that the necessary payment has been madfe and the following month - yes, you guessed it - the exact same thing happens again

What a bunch of uncaring incompetents

Desperate

This company from Evesham will act upon any and all false information given to them by various companies in the hope of chasing a debt.

Had my details passed to them from Octagon Insurance to which I owed no money, and therefore no debt existed.

Capital Resolve did not verify or check the information they had been given or gained any evidence that the debt existed. They wholeheartedly slavered at the opportunity of contacting me by phone and email demanding an amount of money which Octagon said I hadn't paid. Lies, lies and more lies.

Have tried to email and telephone Capital Resolve with no favourable results, apart from the standard "we'll get back to you" quote. To date, they haven't. What a surprise!

Remember people that a Debt Collection Company has no power over you, or to enter your property. Only a court can grant this authority. I would recommend that in any case of debt that it goes to court, that way you end up paying the courts and not the empty headed debt collection agency or their associates. Also you will be able to agree a payment plan with the court should you not be able to pay any debts in full.
