Incompetent Filures Avoid At All Cost
DBCltd will promise to deliver guaranteed success and deliver nothing but invoice after invoice.
They fail to attend debtors properties even when supplied with correct locations.
They attend utterly fictitious addresses.
They fail to provide meaningful reports.
They fail to secure the debt and then threaten the defendant client with legal action for abortive costs having assured the search would continue for two years with no further demands for fees yet make threats for abortive fees !!!!!
Incompetence on an entirely new level.
How they have not been stopped from trading is a mystery
SAVE YOUR MONEY. DONT WASTE IT IN THESE INCOMPETENT INEFFECTUAL IDIOTS

Please Stay Away From Them, Instead Of Recovering
Please stay away from them, instead of recovering your debts you will end up out of pocket yourself. I have given 3 cases of business debts not a single penny they recovered but took money in advance from me.

Lazy And Corrupt
These idiots will put some work in until their fees are paid then they won't do anything after, but continue to charge you for the "service". I had to do all the ground work myself, tracking the debtor down, finding addresses etc, they did nothing. They collected money owed for me for 6months, coincidently the time it took for their fees to be covered, then suddenly they couldn't find the debtor anymore, and sat on their useless backsides demanding money monthly to proceed. Almost 3 years its taken, and for the last 2 of those they've not recovered a single penny. They provide no proof of going to location, just a statement saying they "tried". DCBL are a crooked greedy lazy company. They argued with my solicitor about funds collected, saying they were owed more even when we had the bank transfers to prove otherwise. I can't emphasise strongly enough to avoid this fake company. The TV does NOT show the true colours.

Beware Warning!!
My company, was recommended to use DCBL, also known as Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd, for debt collection. The DCBL sales representatives offered many promises and reassurances, all of which turned out to be fallacies that they would recover our money. The amount in question was £150,000. To recover the money, as per the Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd terms and conditions, DCBL demanded that we pay them 10% of the intended recovery amount. This we paid, and they promised that they would persist in their recovery efforts for up to 120 days, which equates to about four months. The sales pitch of Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd was highly convincing; they flaunted their media coverage on Netflix and ITV. In hindsight, their marketing, coupled with the sales pitch, website information, and phone calls, were part of a well-crafted scheme to cheat me out of £15,000. DCBL assured me that they would employ ethical techniques, including recording all their visits to the debtor's door, filming the data, reporting back, and providing me with weekly updates. Additionally, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd verbally promised certain unethical practices, including making intimidating phone calls to the debtor and showing up at the debtor's store at unreasonable times. All of these lofty promises turned out to be empty, just like their reassurances. Regrettably, the DCBL team couldn't deliver on any of their promises. In fact, these nincompoops couldn't even locate the debtor. In their sales pitch, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd claimed to have a world-class intelligence system and strong ties with credit reference agencies. But their inability to locate the debtor showcased their failure, proving that their promises were nothing but empty talk. I urge everyone to refrain from trusting these idiots at DCBL. All that Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd managed to do was send emails to the debtor. Despite being armed with all the necessary evidence to support our claim, they could not even reply to a single legal letter from the debtor's barrister. DCBL, the company we trusted, failed us. Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd promised that if needed, they would use their sister company, DCB Legal, to respond to the legal letters from the debtor and to proceed with the matter in court. However, this was another of their false promises. I caution everyone considering the services of DCBL or DCB Legal to be wary. Reading through the DCBL terms and conditions was an enlightening experience. It helped me see through their BS and false promises. Clauses three and four stated that the debt collection period should not exceed 120 days, after which DCBL may continue to pursue the debt without additional charges. However, it is unclear what happens if DCBL fails to collect the debt within this timeframe. In our case, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd supposedly chased the debtor for four months before they gave up. Even during the supposed active pursuit, DCBL failed to provide the promised weekly updates. It's clear that their claims of continued pursuit and the use of automated systems to locate the debtor were baseless. According to clause six of the Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd terms and conditions, the client is required to pay a non-refundable administration fee. This fee, which is generally 10% of the total debt, means that if DCBL fails to collect the debt, you, the client, don't get your money back. In our case, we lost £15,000 to DCBL. Clause 11 of the DCBL terms and conditions states that the company doesn't guarantee debt recovery. I strongly advise that you keep this in mind before you pay DCBL any fees. My advice to everyone is to avoid DCBL, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd. This company, DCBL, is only good for sending letters to naive and innocent people. If you're dealing with a debtor who is smart and has good legal counsel, DCBL, or Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd, has little to no chance of success. They fail to respond to strong legal letters, and their promises fall flat. Therefore, unless you're chasing a parking ticket or a minor fine, you have little chance of any success with DCBL. I have reported DCBL, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd, and their debt recovery practices to Trading Standards, the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Financial Ombudsman Service. I urge all businesses to steer clear of Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd and their sister company DCB Legal. In addition to their unsuccessful methods, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd (DCBL) has had numerous court cases against them and have been admonished by judges from the King's Bench Division. They teeter on the brink of having their licenses cancelled. DCBL's conduct has been discussed in various court cases, and by employing DCBL, you're potentially exposing yourself to further litigation or threat of litigation from the debtor. If DCBL does something illegal, as the company that appointed them, you will ultimately be held responsible. DCBL, and their sister company DCB Legal, have been involved in the sending of a DCB debt recovery letter. However, these DCB debt recovery letters often prove to be ineffective. The debtors, equipped with qualified barristers, were able to rebuff the claims in these DCB debt recovery letters, effectively putting DCBL in their place. In conclusion, my personal experience with DCBL, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd, has been overwhelmingly negative. As a business, we have suffered a loss, not only in terms of the uncollected debt but also the fee paid to DCBL. This review serves as a cautionary tale for businesses considering using Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd. The company's inability to deliver on their promises, their unethical practices, and their utter disregard for their clients' needs are glaring issues that can't be ignored. In the realm of debt recovery, DCBL falls short in fulfilling their promises and in providing satisfactory services. My advice is to thoroughly research and consider alternatives before entrusting your debt recovery needs to Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd or DCB Legal. To reiterate, my advice is to avoid DCBL, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd at all costs. If you wish to ensure the safe and legal recovery of your debts, it is crucial to choose a reputable company and not fall into the trap of false promises offered by Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd, DCBL. Remember, appearances can be deceiving, and DCBL's high-profile coverage on media platforms like Netflix and ITV doesn't necessarily speak to their competence or ethics in real-life situations. Their appearance in the media is merely a part of their marketing strategy, designed to win over clients. In contrast to their claim of employing an "ethical" approach, DCBL, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd, was also suggested to employ some questionable tactics. They promised to make intimidating phone calls to the debtor and even show up at their doorstep at unreasonable times. The reality is, these techniques did not materialise in my case, making me question the legitimacy of their services. When engaging with DCBL, or even receiving a DCB debt recovery letter, remember to read through the company's terms and conditions carefully. Doing so could potentially save you from unnecessary financial losses. It's imperative to know that, according to clause 11 of their terms and conditions, Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd does not guarantee debt recovery. This alone should be a significant deterrent to anyone considering utilising their services. To summarise, if your debtor is savvy and knows their way around legal letters, they can easily dispel the threats made by Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd, DCBL. The company, in my experience, is only effective in recovering minor fines or parking tickets. Anything more complex than that, and they seem to falter. Ultimately, this review should serve as a stark warning about the operations of Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd and DCB Legal. My advice to businesses and individuals alike is to steer clear of DCBL. Research and consider more reliable and effective alternatives for your debt recovery needs. By doing so, you can potentially avoid the hassles and financial losses that come with dealing with Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd.

Here Are The Facts. I Had A Business Debt That Nee
Here are the facts. I had a business debt that needed recovering so I got in contact with DCB as their website appeared reputable. One of their salesmen came to my office. He said “we know where the debtor is” and that he is “very confident this debt will be collected very quickly”. The upfront fee was £3000. I questioned why the fee was so high when there were numerous solicitors offering a debt recovery service and commencing court action for only about £500. He said "solicitors are a waste of time" and the only effective way to collect a debt was to use a ‘face to face' debt recovery service like theirs. He explained that is why the fee is so high because their debt recovery service is ‘face to face’. He said that collecting my debt was a “no brainer” and that he was confident I would get my money back very quickly
I said I would only sign up with DCB if they guaranteed a minimum of 4 face to face contacts with the debtor or I’d get a refund. He said that was not a problem and he put this guarantee in writing
So the SOLE and ONLY reason I signed up with DCB is the guarantee they gave me in writing of a minimum of 4 x face to face contacts with the debtor or a refund
The reality is that AFTER 4 MONTHS they have made ZERO FACE TO FACE CONTACTS WITH THE DEBTOR AND NOT EVEN RECOVERED £1 OF THE DEBT!!
This company are absolutely useless. They talk a good game but have achieved ZERO! As they hadn’t done what they guaranteed to do I therefore quite rightly asked for a refund like they promised
Despite having proof in writing that they guaranteed a minimum number of face to face contacts with the debtor or I’d get a refund they are now trying to squirm out of giving me a refund. I have been trying to get my refund for the last 4 weeks and they still haven’t refunded my money and are now not responding to my emails.
The simple fact is that this company guaranteed me in writing a minimum of 4 face to face contacts with the debtor or I’d get refund and they have achieved ZERO and now they are not refunding my money as promised.
