I have just finished with this company after being on a Debt Management Plan for 4 years.

I am now debt free.

They do charge for their services, not like their a debt charity or anything, however you certainly get what you pay for.

I was paying my loans off before on a minimum payment, so was only ever clearing the interest. So basically I was paying hundreds out per month, only to maintain my debt level.

Debtsettlers put me on a DMP and I've now fully cleared my debts after just 4 years.

They keep around 20% of your monthly payment as a service fee, then spread the rest to your creditors. The Debt Management Industry has a really bad name, good to know there are still some good companies out there that will help. Profit based company, but kept their promises and provided me a service for a fee.

Dealt with all the hassle for me, contacted everyone I was in debt with, took the stress away.

I think this was great value for money seen as I was paying hundreds out before, only to stand still.

So again, you certainly do get what you pay for.

I could have got Citizens Advice to do the same for free, however I would have had to do all the leg work, being slightly depressed at the time it was more than I could handle.

Debtsettlers took all the stress away. Got a personal Account Manager who did all the leg work, and I only ever had to speak with him, no one else.

Fair Price, Great service, Would happily recommend it to anyone.

My advice would be to not get into debt in the first place! However, it's not always that simple.

If you are in debt, they are certainly worth considering.
