I can’t thank DFH enough for helping me when I needed them the most, they are the most understanding debt company ever!! I never missed a payment because of their continuous support and dedication to helping me!, when I was unable to pay a certain amount they lowered my monthly cost to suit me and also then increased when I was able to pay more to clear my debt they helped me to do that also.

When I was suffering from mental health they supported me and offered a review and supported me through this also. This company goes above and beyond for their customers.

I am now debt free 3 years on and I had no concerns or worries.

At first I applied for a consolidation loan but was declined due to a bad credit history. I was then offered other options and put through to a financial adviser. He talked me through my budget and monthly spending and what would be left for my payment. It all seemed great until he explained how their fees work. So half of my payment would cover the fees for 6 months then they would reduce further . This was very high to me so I took some time to think about it. In the end I spoke to my partner and i chose to go through StepChange. Which are free and very helpful and said I would be debt free in 1 year.

I called to cancel my plan with DFH. The financial adviser I spoke to previously was very abrupt and blunt with me and seemed like he couldn't wait to end the call. I felt quite angry that I had been told of this great service then felt let down once I explained I wanted to chose other options.

I was so nervous to ring at first but the initial contact was so lovely and made me feel at ease. Everytime I have phoned them they have been super nice and helpful my debts are now paid and the fee to DFH was reasonable each month. I even received a referral fee and when I overpaid they rang me and helped me get the money back.

Long story short I have been mislead, lied to and they haven't stuck to agreements.

I since starting have had non stop trouble sagas and harassment as well as errors on their part

Asked me to pay an additional 50 per month ontop of 100 of my DMP. The total should be 150. Told me I'd need to sign before they can take the money. They sent the form to sign stating an additional 100!!!! (I got 8 emails demanding my signature) I refused to sign and they took money without a signature for anything.

Disgraceful.

I was manipulated into joining as I was promised no matter what I'd only have 1 on my case to talk to. That soon became 3 after joining and now it's the whole blooming place.

I have health problems and I cant always keep up with too many people talking to me about finances which is why it was agreed 1 person initially. They couldn't even keep to that.

They lie, they take without signatures and they do what they want without even considering what they are doing.

They are Extortionate. They charge such a high monthly fee. Go payplan or elsewhere as they're free for the same and infact better service.

Our plan has finally finished after 9 years

where did that time go, when we applied we were apprehensive about taking it on we were not pressured but glad we did, DFH has been brilliant all through the 9 years with helpful staff and understanding, yes you have a fee to pay every month included in your payment, but they do all the work for you with creditors, i would highly recommend DFH to anyone who is in a mess with debts and just do not know what to do

I rang DFH yesterday and spoke to a lovely, very helpful man who guided me down the right route for my debt solution. We agreed on a Debt Management Plan. Everything was explained in full to me. They were very kind and extremely helpful and listened to what I needed help with. Then gave me good advice and we agreed on the DMP. I am very grateful for their help.

At first phonecall they promised me that all extra interests would be stopped and that I will repay all in 3 years but after i signed paperwork and been with them by 8 months my debts are 1.500£ higher now! They did not care about minimum payments and same had been missed by them and I need to control it by myself! My repaying time is extended now. I can say that i drawn 640£. Totally crapp!

Feeling so relieved and smiley after my telephone conversation with a staff member today. I cannot recommend DHF and particularly this member of staff enough. Great customer service, efficient, and friendly. Everything was explained clearly and all my options were outlined. Big thank you!
