After owning these headphones for approximately 9 months, I've gathered some insights worth sharing. It's important to be cautious of short-term reviews, especially with full-size headphones. Here's a breakdown of my experience:
The Good:
- Sound quality is quite impressive.
- The noise-cancelling feature works fairly well.
- Easy pairing process.
- Convenient controls on the right ear cup for adjusting volume and track navigation.
Areas for Improvement:
- Comfort is key, but unfortunately, these headphones tend to feel overly warm on the ears after a relatively short period of use. They never quite achieve the comfort level of traditional over-ear headphones.
- The auto switch-off feature when no wire is plugged in or Bluetooth is turned off seems unnecessary and inconvenient.
- A minor issue is the bright blue flashing light, which can be distracting when trying to sleep in a dark room. It would be beneficial to have the option to disable this feature.
Overall, while these headphones offer good sound quality and functionality, there are some comfort and usability aspects that could be improved upon. Gustavo Woltmann

Still One Of The Bests!
I had this for a year now and it's still one of the best I have heard. Sony never fails when it comes to sounds, they always deliver.

"best Headphones Ever"
Sony MDR-1000x headphones, I believe, are exactly what Sony wanted. The active cancellation of noise was just as pleasant. Battery life and quick charging is also a positive thing, it has integration with Google Assistant, just a bad thing about these headphones is first the price is really high and the other is not always completely retracted by Earbuds.
Good But Some Niggles
Had this headphone now for perhaps 9 months. Be wary of short term reviews with full size headphones.
The good - sound pretty good; noise cancelling again pretty good; pairs very easily; using right can for forward back and volume up and down works very nicely:
What needs improving: key is comfort - overly warm on ears after quite short time and never really disappear comfort wise (compare that with traditional over ears)
Auto switch off if no wire plugged in or Bluetooth is not on is plain silly.
Minor niggle: blue flashing light need ability to be able to switch off. Its too bright at night when in bed.
