Well, In General I'm Satisfied With The Earphones,
Well, in general i'm satisfied with the earphones, i use them everyday while walking to and from work (about 2 km a day). Originally, I needed them for covert communication (business staff), and I though that model was the most suitable for it, but I was wrong. So for covert communication I bought a special wireless spy earpiece (by the way, I ordered from www.gsm-earpiece.com - they seemed nice and welcoming to me). Anyway Fi3 Studio earphones are with me every day. I love everything about them - sound quality, design features, convenience. I'd advise you this model.

I Bought These To Replace My Sennheiser Cx300's, B
I bought these to replace my Sennheiser CX300's, but find that there's not much bass, although clarity is OK, not near a match for my home headphones (Beyerdynamic DT 231 Galactic).I don't like the way they stick out of your ears, and are tricky to install given the fack that the thick cable has to loop over your ears, they just do not seem to give a good seal with any of the supplied tips.Another £50 quid wasted in the pursuit of high sound quaility...

I Purchased These Phones Because I Saw The Reviews
I purchased these phones because I saw the reviews on CNET and I did not want to pay double to get the super.Fi 5 Pro. While I am amazed at the clarity of music at almost all frequencies, I am not sure if I am actually hearing any bass or just imagining it. The bass is there, but not all there. My Sony EX51LP phones sound ten times better at frequencies below 300 Hz.
From what I can see from the tech specs, the super.Fi 5 Pro are the way to go to get the fullest frequency range, but they are twice the price. The super.Fi 3 phones are the cheapest true audiophile phones I've found, but hearing the unbelievable clarity in my music makes me wish I actually had spent the extra for the 5 series to hear the lower and higher frequencies.
If you don't like bass, or listen to Rock, Tech no, Rap, or any genre that is bass and beat heavy, then you will absolutely love these earphones. If you can afford the upgrade, get the super.Fi 5 Pro phones instead.

Since I Am Having Cable Problems, This Has Put A B
Since I am having cable problems, this has put a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to Ultimate Ears. I had been considering buying the custom model, but I have now changed my mind and may go to another company. It is a shame that a company as reputable as Ultimate Ears would treat their customers this way.

I Have Had The Ultimate Ears Super Fi 3 Studio Ear
I have had the Ultimate Ears Super Fi 3 Studio Earphones for almost a month now, and since the first day I listened to them I have been extremely happy with the sound quality and isolation that these headphones offer. I have heard things that I previously hadn't heard using in-ear headphones, such as greater clarity, better sound stage and imaging (my previous headphones were the standard Apple buds and then the Sony MDR-EX71). They compare favourably with my Sennheiser 250 Linear II headphones, but they can't compete with the overall quality of these old-style headphones.
The only negative that I have with them is that they are a little conspicuous when I am wearing them in public and on the tube, and it feels like I have two short sticks hanging out of my ears, but then I am usually so immersed in my world of music that I don't really care.
