I Ordered A Pair Of These In A Fit Of Madness, Fro

I ordered a pair of these in a fit of madness, from amazon. When they arrived I was shocked at how flashy these things are. I stuck them on and the sound was ok. Not as fantastic as the hype but not to bad either. I wanted mainly for bus journey to work and for jogging. I tried them on the bus and a few people noticed, but it made me feel self concious. I tried for jogging, but they are to heavy.I think if you have money to burn then and like to be flashy then you will probabley like these.I am a bit to conservative and really wanted to spend less.so I sent them back and bought a pair of soundwise TC20, also from amazon. I like these but wish I had seen the S16 model which areMore what I was looking for. I was also tempted by some of the Sennheiser models.

After Trying Many Earbuds, Such As The Sony Ex71lp

After trying many earbuds, such as the Sony EX71LP and Ultimate Ears super.fi 3 studio, the V-Moda Bass Freq is my favorite.

I used the frequency graph on V-moda's website to custom tailor the equalizer on my MP3 to lower the 62 Hz frequency and raise the 1KHz and 16 KHz to create a flat frequency response.

After doing so, the sound is absolutely amazing. Tight, deep bass, crisp mids and highs, and an overall sound experience that misses nothing. The bass is great but not overpowering, as long as you don't increase the low frequencies, or the mids and highs can get a bit muddy. My equalizer settings keep the great bass sound and improve the mids and highs with no muddying.

I am very happy with this purchase, these are the best earbuds I have ever tried. And they come at a great price (starting around $40 US).

I highly recommend these earbuds to anyone who likes rock, pop, techno, dance, etc.

The only phones I would recommend instead are the Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 Extended Bass, but they cost 4 times as much as the V-modas.

Buy these if you have an equalizer on your player - you will not be disappointed!
