I Bought My 1000p Soundforce Speakers About Three

I bought my 1000p Soundforce speakers about three weeks ago, after buying a refurbished Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop. I decided that it would be wise to get some new speakers instead of using the moth bitten old aiwa 25watt active speakers which were passed down from my dad... so, I stumbled across the sound force speakers and subwoofers on the electronics section of asda in manchester. They were going for about £17.50, and I thought that that was well worth the money considering it was supposed to come with a meaty 1000w (pmpo) subwoofer. I must say it was worth the £18 or less that I paid, as the woofer is quite bassy for a small unit, and the two speakers produce a very sharp clear sound. As you would expect for a lower end market price, the woofer only works best to produce a good bass sound up until the volume is about halfway cranked up to the max. After this point, you can expect distortion unless you strategically start to turn the bass down as you get ever closer to max volume... also, apart from the woofer, there is no base in the two desktop speakers. The two speakers may as well be a pair of tweeters apart from the sub, but like I said before, the sound reproduction is crystal. There's a 3d button on the woofer, which produces some surround sound atmosphere when activated. There are two leds on the front of the woofer, one for power on, and the other to show that the 3d surround sound filter is also on. The whole kit is of a sturdy good quality plastic. Over all, its worth the £17.50 I paid for it. I watched a dvd on my laptop after I brought them home, and the soundforce speakers really did it justice. This is a decent set of speakers and a sub, suitable for a small office computer, or just for gaming or watching films, and listening to music.
