Ancells Fish and Chips, Fleet, Hampshire

I've had fish and chips from Ancells Fish and Chip shop many times, so thought it was about time I left a review. I can honestly say you won't get better fish and chips from within the Hampshire area. To put it mildly, I love fish and chips, and have tried it at many different places, and Ancell's has always scored the best!

The fish has always been a good sized portion, thick chunky sizes, and always tasty. The fish has always been cooked to perfection, and the batter always crispy and never soggy.

The chips are great, again, good sized portions... not too much and not too little. If you don't fancy fish you can always choose something else from the menu, such as sausage, chicken, pies etc.

I always found the price to be very reasonable and in fact cheaper compared to other local shops. An added bonus is that there is plenty of parking outside.

My only word of caution is get your order in early on a Friday or Saturday evening, as you'll more than likely have to wait in a queue leading outside the shop, as they're so popular!
