Milano Pizzeria, Leominster

We visit Milano Restaurant at least three times per month. It is soooo delicious. Waitress is very friendly , helpful. Chef made us great steak. And desserts are so delicious. Typical Italian meals, desserts, huge choice of wine and food. Everything was perfect.

I noticed someone complained about waiter not understanding English they do understand English but people need to take into consideration your eating in an Italian restaurant your not gonna get English staff thank god maybe have a bit of patience and talk proper then there wouldn't be a problem the food is out of this world no other way to explain it been twice now and omg the portions are more than enough and quality and taste of the food is phenomenal and have already recommended to many friends. also the staff are always polite, friendly , helpful 10 out of 10

Me and my friends decided to visit the Milano restaurant last week,we came from Ludlow, and we really enjoyed our evening there.Very friendly staff welcomed us,big variety of choises in their menu,food was very tasty and freshly cooked,good quality of the house wine and also romantic atmosphere, I definitely recommend this place!

The waiter didn't seem to understand a word I said and asked me to tell him the number from the menu so it was no surprise when he got the order wrong. the food was pretty average; Pizza not much better than a frozen one and the starters reminded me of a two for one offer at my local pub, the house wine tasted like paint stripper and it was generally over-priced. If I ever go back to Leominster I will definitely not return to this place. Thanks.

I Definatly would not recommend this place. I have been three times altogether. My first time I went was lovely and I really enjoyed the food, the staff was nice and friendly and was quick service. I loved it! So I decided to go again. My second time I went was also nice, but the food was not as of a high quality as the time before. Infact it felt like I was eating whether spoons food (OK not the best though). My third time I came I recommended it to friends, so we all decided to go have a nice meal which I thought maybe my second time going was a one off. BUT NO! I was completely wrong. The food was lovely again! But the staff (the only lady who serves) was completely miserable. We placed our order in and I ordered soup for a starter, and my friend ordering garlic mushrooms. They decided they had no mushrooms so my friend was fine with that. I was waiting for my soup to come. (In mean while my friend ordered garlic bread) they had forgotten to give me my starter and just placed my main infront of me after 45 minutes of waiting. They also forgot the garlic bread! I realise sometimes it can be hard to remember everything BUT there was only 1 other couple in. I thought this was not acceptable and they realise the faults they made, but didn't offer free drinks or take abit off the bill. I am disappointed and will not return and I do not recommend this place!

I only found this review site while looking for the number for Milano to book again! After reading the other reviews I thought I would add my own.

The reception on arrival was excellent, with my wife and I being greeted by friendly staff and shown quickly to a table.

We ordered distinctly different dishes and the food was extremely good. It was obviously cooked from fresh ingredients with good wine to accompany it. The wine was not overpriced as is often the case.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and we would certainly recommend this restaurant to friends and others wishing to dine out. Our only regret is that the place has been there for five years and we have only just discovered it!

This really has to be the worst meal I have had in a decade. The starter was four mushrooms on a sad looking salad. The main course was supposed to be a fillet steak but God knows what poor beast had died in its name. It was clearly frozen and re-cooked and was ghastly. They even buggered up the chips.We were so shocked by the whole meal that we opted for a desert just to see if it could get any worse. It could. All the cheap 1970s tricks were there: tap water requests ignored and 100ml bottles brought and charged at £2; glasses of wine poured at table so half full glasses could be topped up and charged as a whole glass. The waitress was jolly good but all in all the experience was a disgrace.

Great choice of starters and there is something for everyone; from Pizza to Pasta. Fish, Chicken, Beef - all kinds of Italian dishes. Fabulous menu. All fresh ingredients and wonderfully cooked. The deserts are amazing.

A great choice of wines, all reasonably priced.

The staff are all very attentive & well trained.

The restaurant is very clean.

We would love to eat through the menu of further occasions (this is not a 'pizzeria', it has a wide range of dishes) if it weren't nearly 2 hours from home.

Friendly, good value and the 5 dishes we had between us were full of flavours and wonderfully cooked but the town was quiet and they were half full on a Saturday night, seemed a pity to us. Spread the word!
