Amid Palace, Nuneaton

I dont write reviews at all but having being here alot recently i felt i had to write down my experiences and share with all! When service is so professional and so heartwarmingly friendly that alone made me love just being there, the service is faultless. The food has improved esp with the fine dining specials within the last few weeks which i noticed alot and the drinks are cool and refreshing how it should be as opposed to last few months back also The plates are lovely and hot and just gets u all excited to start the meal. It has been wonderful to see how great this place is the atmosphere is welcoming and suits to all diners and we should all try it and show support to our local indian!! Well done gentlemen!!!

every 1 dont get put of by the front of the restaurant until u go in there an when u do , its a very smart clean lovely place u b suprized ? i eat there 2,3 times a month and the food an service is 1st class,, the best indian in nuneaton. my 2 fav,dish is the addrak,an jall murghi its a must try dish and apart from that iv eaten most of the stuff on the menu an all is damm good, so if u havent been 2 the amid place plz do so, cuz u love it.

it had been a while since i'd been to Amid palace and i was quite looking forward to my meal having had many a good meals there in the past.

Upon being seated it took 10 to 15 minutes before a drink order was taken even though there was only about 7 tables with people on at the time. The food order was taken, popadoms and dips pretty much came straight out but before all of our party was finished the waiters were clearing the table ready for the starters. Starters arrived and were very nice but before the waiters had cleared the table they were trying to serve our mains. Anyway mains came and again were all very nice until i found a ***hair*** in with my lamb. I didnt make a scene but i could not finish my meal, so i waited for the rest of my party to finish their meals before telling a waiter about the hair, he took the hair over to what i believe was his manager and another member of staff, shockingly enough ***they both laughed***. No appology was made for the incident. We then found numerous errors on the bill where we had been charged for things we hadnt had. I then took this all up discretley with the manager at the end of my evening who told me that the hair was not his responsibility it was the kitchen staffs and he thought it had been dealt with..

So if you want reasonable indian food from a restaurant that is rapidly going down hill, whose staff really couldnt care less in more was than one this is the place to go! Very dissappointed and will not be returning!

The food at the amid palace is always good an the staff are always friendly an helpful.

1st time iv eaten at the amid palace an it was excellent they got this offer on which i had 3 course meal 4 £ 7.95 on frm sunday to thursday all nite and fri 2 sat, same thing 4 £9.95 6pm 2 7pm only the great thing is its not a set menu , u could have all most anything of there normal menu apart frm di king prawn dishes ,, an now i cant wait till my next vist thats how good it was !

It's true what has already been said.

The food is consistant, always excellent.

I have eaten in Indian Restaurants throughout the country and I can honestly say I have never had a better food at any of them.

I have been to the 'famous' Brick Lane in London and none of the restarants there come close.

I love the chana bel puri starter at Amid Palace - keep trying to make it at home its so delicious please tell me how to do it. If you haven't been here try it, nice people eager to help................ that's why we keep going back

Always have a perfect meal either takeaway or eat in.

The beer in draft is very good. Try some of the more less known dishes such as the Amid Paspuran. Recommend to anyone in the area to visit. Ignore the fact that it is an ex little chef. When you get inside you wouldn't know it had ever been anything but a very well presented restaurant.

Enjoyed both eat-in and take-aways from the Amis Palace restaurant in Nuneaton.

I have no hesitation in recommending it.
