We Were Soldiers

Mel Gibson's "We Were Soldiers" places the viewer right in the middle of the Vietnam War, and grabs their emotions right from the start.

In my opinion, this is among the best war films in recent memory and probably the best film on the Vietnam War since `Full Metal Jacket' and 'Platoon'.

"We Were Soldiers" reminds everyone not only the horrors of war (both on the battlefield and at home), but also the courage and sacrifice men and woman, in the past and today are willing to make for their countries.

I recommend seeing this film. It's not a "feel-good" movie or a movie made for pure pleasure. It's made to show the story of the soldiers.
