This Is One Of The Greatest Films Ever Made!!! Zul
This is one of the greatest films ever made!!! Zulu is an absolute epic that must be seen by everyone!
The performance by Michael Caine is flawless.
Set in the 1880's (right?), Zulu depicts the relatively small number of British Troops holding off a couple of thousand Zulus at Rorke's Drift.
This is a film for everyone, for Grandad, Dad, EVERYONE!
An outstanding film that MUST BE SEEN!

I Love Christmas Holidays When You're Flicking Thr
I love Christmas holidays when you're flicking through the TV and see that Zulu is on. I've probably watching it 5 or 6 times - its very addictive.
Its quite a long film, but it sucks you in. Its probably not historically 100% accurate, but gives you a flavour of what was going on during the period and how Britain viewed other countries and other races.
By todays standards, some of the acting is maybe a little 'hammy' - so real dramatic death scenes as the soldiers are hit by spears - but to me that kind of adds to the fun of the film.
I wouldn't necessarily rush out to get the DVD (probably because Ive seen it so many times) - but I'll definitely watch it next time I see it on the TV and have the spare time. A must see at least once

I Think Everyone's Seen This Film, Haven't They? I
I think everyone's seen this film, haven't they? If you have been living under a rock for the last 20 years, then here's one of the films you should watch to celebrate your emergence. Despite Michael Caine's slightly implausible army officer, this is an immersive experience that also manages not to get too embroiled in the wider issues about empire - maybe that's a bad thing because it certainly doesn't tackle the moral issues, but then does every film have to? Watch and enjoy.
