Lucky: No Time for Love (12A)

Sorry but it is unrealistic view on Saint-Petersburg and Russia. Very funny to watch then you know real Russia. It seems like you are in 19th century or what. Have the authors seen Russian trains and army? This was like the Second World War in maximum, but not the present day Russia. As well no Civil War were in Russia since the beginning of 20th century. Well, such clothes are not typical for Russians today. I am sorry, but these untrue views spoiled all the film for me. Actors were good. But the whole film is unrealistic and just is a lie. Well, It seems that Bollywoods getting unoriginal by the day. It just got worse with Lucky: No Time for Love. The movie has got a couple of scenes picked up from an English classic "Doctor Zhivago". Also based in Russia. Also based on a civil war and revolution. The scene where the train enters in a jam packed station and everyone rushing in is also picked up from there. The scene where Salman runs in the snow seeing a person only later to realize it wasn't who he was thinking is also picked up from there. Seems pretty odd that the setting is modern day Russia but it still shows primitive technology of the early 1900's and a locomotive with the sickel and hammer, here again to be like "Dr Zhivago". These are points directly linked with the Hollywood classic although indirectly many other shots are imitated.

Lucky: No Time for Love - Well the storyline sounds inspiring at first. No usual family drama with 200 relatives. It is all about two people coming close to each other in the face of danger. Sneha is a school girl who gets more than what she bargained for (including Salman) on a regular trip to school. The story is all about a naive school girl and a blase whatever his job is being thrown together in the middle of a civil war.

The movie would have been good but for the pathetic attempts at comedy by Salman Khan and the unbearably incredibly irritating babytalk by the new-comer Sneha Ullal. Not to mention Mithunda whose role would have won critical acclaim if it was that of a lunatic let out by mistake.
