Ludovico Einaudi, I Giorni - This is a beautiful and relaxing piece conceived by Einaudi around a 12th century Mali folk song about a hippopotamus revered by a village who is killed by a hunter. It is a lovingly-conceived, all-piano album which reveals new joys in its notes each and every time I listen to it. If you want melancholic beauty and are a fan of the piano, this is a highly recommended disc.
