The Kanstul 1504 Is A Great Horn. I Bought It Afte

The Kanstul 1504 is a great horn. I bought it after trying many horns, including Bach 72*, 37, Conn V1, LeBlanc MF, Getzen 3050, as well as Kanstul 1500B, 1503 & 1600. Fits in anywhere. This should be on everybody's list of horns to try. It has a broader sound in the lower register (to my ear) than the 37 (and clones) - some might call that "dark" - but I prefer this sound (cornet was my first instrument!). Up high, it gets focused, and can just scream, or whisper, if you need it to.

Leadpipe slightly larger than other Kanstul Signature Series horns makes for a more open feel. Excellent fit and finish. Manufactured under the watchful eye of Zig Kanstul, one of the legends of the brass instrument industry.
