Hi,

I have listened to radio 2 in the morning for years but unfortunately now can’t bear it since the changes.

I feel Scott Mills was not the best choice. Radio 2 needs someone with depth and substance. The music is horrendous, exactly the same as radio 1 ! This is so disappointing as there is no other station like radio 2 to listen to in the morning now. I just hope in time that changes are made. It would be interesting to know how many other radio 2 listeners feel the same. Thank you

What has happened to Radio 2 Great news Zoe Ball leaves bad bad news that idiot Scott Mills takes over the breakfast show oh no also get rid of Vernon Kay this station has been destroyed by that Helen woman this is not heart FM Radio 1 is for the youngsters Radio 2 it's for the older generation sort it out sack Scott Mills

Of all people to host the Radio 2 breakfast show, why have you chosen Scott Mills? That man has no charisma whatsoever and his inane chatter drives me to distraction. As for his musical tastes - just bland and boring, presented in a "who cares about the listeners" kind of way. Breakfast show presenters need personality, charm, understanding of their audience- Scott Mills possesses none of those gifts - even his voice is nondescript! Oh Radio 2, what have you done? Love ya, bye!!

Please could we have less coverage of Bobby traffic, she used to be painful to listen to when she fluffed traffic reports now she is even worse when she is given more air time. She has to be the most boring individual and the voice she uses describing her evening meal drives one completely mad. Sarah Jarvis is extremely condescending and talks to listeners as if we are all slightly intellectually challenged.

The saving grace of radio two is Sunday Love Songs, Michael Ball is just the right man to present this and well done him he has done it perfectly

I am so glad I have seen these reviews as I thought it was just me.who has ruined radio 2.Why replace the best DJs like Steve Wright in the afternoon , Ken Bruce , Simon Mayo.

So Paddy On Saturday,Scott Mills ,DJ Spoony are they doing this for free as they are so in proffessional.

Please think of your next move as it’s such a shame what you have done.

You have one of the best radio DJs in the world Gary Davies so why not let him have the afternoon slot.

Sarah Cox also has a great sense of humour and seems very caring and has great knowledge.

Paddy McGuinness great TV presenter but not a DJ.

Please you had the best radio station in the UK as you had amazing DJs with great voices to listen to so why do what you have done.

I tuned in to R2 this afternoon, a rare event these days, and tolerated about 20minutes of DJ Spoony (whoever he is). He does not have any presenting skills, clearly thinks he’s in a Euro nightclub. The ‘music’ was awful & his dialogue infantile.II’ve also heard snippets of several ‘northern’ and a presenters, no doubt on huge salaries, but I just can’t stand them & turn off.

I do not hear interesting/ intelligent/ humorous conversation between music played. Thank goodness for independent podcasts, some recent DAB stations & internet radio.

Clearly I’m not the target audience, being an educated, intelligent, white, heterosexual male over 60. R2 used to be the station for me & millions of others at any time of day. R2 has clearly sunk to non-recoverable depths, no doubt losing listeners as fast as BBC TV is losing viewers.

There must be some better presenters out there, but perhaps they wouldn’t want to work for the BBC - who knows?

In attempting to submit this review, my 1* selection was cancelled automatically, leaving only a ⅔/4 option - not good! I selected 2, poor - could be improved! R2 is worse than that.

Is this a chat station with a little music, or a music station with a little chat?

It seems BBC 2 has become a platform for people who like the sound of their own voices.

The choice of music, when played, is often similar to BBC 1 who choses the songs?

Sorry to be so negative, but it's frustrating having lost a station that was so good in the past.

Used to enjoy radio two in the afternoon but the new Scott mills show is absolutely diabolical, his voice alone grinds you down, the show is pathetic guessing tunes that people want to track, absolute rubbish, he definitely needs replaced

He has got to go, really out of his depth, hit rock bottom with Mens underware! Stupid laughter
