Titan Pro TP-10 Ton Petrol Log Splitter

Excellent splitter will recommend to any one a must have Machine

Currently have 2 of the Titan Pro 10-ton splitters on our sites.

Purchased our first in 2011, and it’s still running great. We made the decision to buy another just 2 months ago to be stationed at our smaller site, but also for rental.

Very good splitters for the money, which both us and our customers can vouch for. Simple, safe and efficient splitting. We also have 2 of the obtuse splitting heads in stock for wood that hasn’t had a chance to properly dry out. These have been life savers on the occasions we have called on them.

Even though we don’t qualify for the domestic warranty, the company have taken care of us when possible. Hopefully there will more business with them in the future.

Had this in our arsenal since the autumn of 2012 and it’s a monster!

We had been meaning to invest in a decent splitter for a while now, and we had an ever expanding backlog of wood piling up so it seemed the right time. Instead of several of our team slaving away chopping, it only takes one of us with this splitter. One man essentially doing 3 mens work, you do the maths... We have easily recouped the investment in saved labour already. We work on the grounds of several estates so the fact we can transport this around, instead of the wood, makes life a lot easier.

As for the splitter itself, we couldn’t be more impressed if we tried. We opted for the 10 ton model on the grounds it has the most power, so in our mind it’ll be more durable. Plus it can tackle the larger logs with no problems whatsoever.

Contacted the company to run through our options prior to the purchase and they were very helpful and approachable. Haven’t got a bad word to say about this product, other than its a little loud, but it’s to be expected given the job its doing!

Hi all, purchased this 8 or so months back and I know a basic review is always handy for potential customers.

Pro’s:

Exceptional power. I’ve had no problems cutting through really chunky logs.

The 8HP engine isn’t too thirsty and starts first time always.

Easily adjustable so it can adapt to varying sizes easily.

Safer and much less straining than manual splitting, especially with large logs.

Decent warranty included

Cons:

It’s a bit of a tank, and even with the wheels it takes two people to move it safely.

Had to purchase engine oil on top of the order as none included.

Delivery took a few more days than expected, but it was sent next working day, so maybe the courier is at fault.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend. For every slight fault I could find with my experience, the positives overwhelmingly outweigh them. Had a lot of use out of this splitter and I’m certain I’ll be getting many more years out of her yet!

I was also made aware of a 4 way splitter attachment being available sometime early this year and I’ll be placing an order in a heartbeat when it does become available.
