Fantastic

Fantastic bread awesome ingredient a must for any sweet tooth cant get enough of it. The only downside to this bread is it could be rather fattening if ya like eating it all to yourself in 1 day

Morrison's Sunflower & Pumpkin Seed Loaf 800gm. Th

Morrison's Sunflower & Pumpkin Seed Loaf 800gm. Thick Sliced or Toasty Sliced - also contains linseed, rye and oats. Costs approximately £1.15

I don't know if many people have tried this loaf or even heard of it but it is absolutely delicious. NOW, having said that I do know 'brown' bread is a little like 'Marmite' in that you either love it or hate it, so for LOVERS of brown bread, you really need to try this

I found it about a year ago and never eat any other bread in sliced form even for toast where it is especially delicious. It has a medium malty taste and you can actually see the sunflower and pumpkin seeds in it and being fairly soft makes delicious sandwiches.

No-one else in my family eats brown bread and certainly not 'that one with all the bits in it', so I freeze it at purchase and use as needed. This works well and does not impair taste or texture. I do feel that It is best frozen immediately as I have found that even though dated about 4 days ahead it can dry out quite quickly.

The only thing is that I found that the 'thick' variety is quite thick but as toasty or thick are the only ones on offer, I have got used to this. It is quite high in calories BUT it IS very filling. I have tried similar bread from other manufacturers such as Warburton's but these come nowhere near this in my view and are quite a lot more expensive anyway.

My local Morrison's does not seem to have very good stock control and quite often it is out of stock but I am reviewing their bread and not their store, so this fact does not detract from my rating ; in any case, when I see it I buy 2 or 3 to make sure that I don't run out of it.

I highly recommend this bread and hope you will try it and see what you think
