Poor Level Of Service, Totally Inflexible

Beware of ordering tiles from Easy Bathrooms. They don't hold any stock in the local showroom, not even samples of the different tiles on offer. It takes several days for samples and tiles to arrive in store from their main warehouse. They refuse to take back unopened boxes for refund. And they charge you £20 to go and collect your order!!! Our tiler said their service was rubbish. Shame because the tiles themselves were nice - but we won't be recommending them to anyone! Who needs constant hassle! When I complained to their Customer Service, I was basically told that that's how they do things, and it works for them, so like it or lump it.

Terrible company, do not use. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We spent thousands on a bathroom makeover and from start to finish it has been a nightmare. The salesman, we found out afterwards, was totally inexperienced, and yet was left to design and order a total bathroom, he left out the bath......work out that one! The wrong items were ordered, and it took a lot of phone calls and hassle to get that amended. Then the shower head paint started bubbling and peeling, and of course that was down to cleaning products. I am not stupid, I can read directions for aftercare and follow them, but how do you prove you haven't used any? Unlike many other places with them the customer is not always right and they will not listen. Why would you not when you have paid out so much of your hard earned money? So if you're thinking of renovating your bathroom take my advice and go elsewhere.

Deceitful Company - Avoid At All Costs

Absolutely never order with easybathrooms. I am currently opening up a small claims due to in my opinion, bad behaviour

initially they delivered a faulty shower tray. Then the shower panels arrived without all 3 of the essential dimensions on the boxes which forced us to open the packaging to check it. We had been advised to order the wrong items and they then refused to exchange or refund. If they had printed the essential information on the box no opening would have happened but they have used this as a way of refusing an exchange. To add insult to injury they then charged £60 to pick up the remaining box which hadn’t been opened. I have never experienced such awful service and our plumber also advised this is not a trusted or quality company. Beware of ordering

Poor Customer Service When Things Go Wrong

Shower board delivered but one was damaged. Waited for an answer when a replacement would arrive. Didn't get a response for a few days and when I did it was a wait of about two weeks. This wasn't acceptable due to needing a functioning bathroom.

Despite emails to customer service I have had no response or refund with my first unanswered email dating back 13 days.

I will now be involving my credit card supplier to get a refund.

Had a refund been issued promptly and if customer service had responded to me then I wouldn't have had an issue but given my experience I won't be shopping with them again.

If you are reading this then you are either thinking of buying a bathroom suite of Easy Bathrooms or you have already done so.

Our experience of this is as follows, we paid over £5000 pounds on a suit from EASY Bathrooms of Derby, all seemed ok, the staff smiling and very helpful paid for the suit upfront and booked one of there fitters in to fit the suit.

The suit was installed, expertly by the fitter, upon completion we noticed that both of the twin sinks were damaged.

We contacted Easy Bathrooms of Ascot Drive Derby and informed them of the damage, this is where everything CHANGES.

Having been promised several times that somebody from head office would be in touch NOTHING!!. After several weeks we resorted to getting in touch with Citizens Advice and sent a letter of complaint to the head office.

After several emails, we were informed that Easy Bathrooms would not help us with the sinks !!!,.

So after spending a lot of money with them, they completely denied any responsibility, if you are thinking of buying any bathroom fitments from this company Please check every item that is delivered to your property before it is installed. You Have Been Warned.

Deceitful Description On Website

I purchased the Bauhaus Elite Vanity Unit AND Basin, just as described on the website. Upon receiving my order, all I receieved was the Vanity unit and NO Basin. The Invoice accompanying the Unit only describes (and still charged the full £288) for the Bauhaus Elite Vanity Unit and no mention of a Basin, despite was being sold to me on Easy Bathrooms website.

I am VERY dissapointed and annoyed and intend to contact them immediatly upon their return from their extended Christmas break.

Update 6 Jan 2014.

I contacted easy bathroom today about the missing basin. Apparently the basin is not included and needs to be purchased separately. This is completely at odds with how the unit is advertised. The unit is described on their website in large bold print heading as “Bauhaus Elite 50 Unit & Basin”. It is then described in the detailed description as having the following features: “Single drawer basin unit, Push to open, High gloss white cast mineral marble, Bowl off-set to left, Single tap hole with overflow”. The picture advertised of the unit is complete with the basin. My English may not be very good, but I cannot comprehend how a “Vanity Unit only” can be described as “Bauhaus Elite 50 Unit & Basin” and include a picture of the whole unit with the basin. Furthermore, when I complained, I was told by one of the managers that it has happened before and other people have purchased the item believing they were buying a complete vanity unit and basin.

The advert is manifestly incorrect, deliberately inaccurate and placed by easy bathrooms to mislead. I am disgusted with their response and I wish to return the unit, at which point I have been told easy bathroom will charge £40 for return carriage. I am already having to pay the fitter extra and the inconvenience of the delay this has caused. There are so many quality decent internet sites selling bathroom equipment; I have used many as I am refurbishing my entire house. I would seriously suggest you stay away from easy bathrooms. You really don’t need to take this risk.
