Caring Concern For An Owl
My wife and I had a wonderful experience during the afternoon of January 28, 2022. We found a beaufiful owl in our back yard unable to fly because of what appeared to be injured wing. We called the Hawaiian Humane Society to see if they could help this bird. They referred us to Hawaii Bird Rescue.
We called Hawaii Bird Rescue. A very pleasant person answered and asked if we could take a picture of the owl and send it to her so that she could see who might best be able to help with this bird. She kept us posted on what was happening and shortly thereafter 3 people came to our home to take the bird. They seemed to know exactly what to do and seemed to be very caring in how they were handling the bird. They were very appreciative of us contacting them and thanked us. Within an hour of our initial contact, they had come and taken the bird. One of the staff called us later to let us know that the bird was fed and that it was doing well.
We are very relieved that the bird is being taken care of and doing well, and we really appreciate the wonderful service of the staff at HAWAII BIRD RESCUE
Owl Evening Experience Moreton In The Marsh Falconary Centre
I was given this experience as a birthday present by my two sons. I upgraded the evening to include my wife. We had B&B in Moreton in the Marsh as part of the weekend.
The experience was wonderful; the owls were the stars of the event. Up-close-and-personal would describe the contact with the owls. If you like birds, especially birds of prey, you could not fail to be impressed by the majesty of these wonderful creatures.
The staff/guides at the centre were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, humerous and pitched the information at a level all comers could understand. Top marks for the centre - the flying display was breath-taking and to hold on your arm such majestic creatures was a privilage.
