Plastic Tank Not Fit For Pupose

On my third tank. Any little knock to the appliance and it cracks. The pressure drops and water dribbles all over. Please modify for a more durable appliance as I use these mops everyday Always happens when I'm just out of guarantee. Extra cover costs me the same as the tank replacement. I might try another brand this time around.

Ruined My Wood Floors

Installed new hardwood and laminate floors.Soon after purchased the H20

steam cleaner. Within a few months noticed the flooring was starting to curl up in places along the seams. Fortunately I decided to stop using the H20 and it didn't continue so it was clear that the steam was the cause. I contacted the company but they would not admit that it could cause the damage and would not even refund me for the machine if I returned it.

Everyone knows you are suppose to use a special laminate floor cleaner. Water ruins them and steam is just HOT WATER

Waste Of Money

I have white tiles and white grouting...I thought regular steaming will keep it clean. WRONG! This piece of junk doesn't do the job and now causes my circuit to trip. Back on the market for another product.

Utter Rubbish - Don't Watse Your Money!

No cleaning ability what-so-ever. Avoid where possible. Utter junk.

Bought one of these three months ago and used it to clean just the laminate floor once or twice. Wanted to deep clean the bathroom having last used the cleaner last month. It wouldn't steam and then when I refilled it, laid it flat it jetted hot steam from a blow whole before the nozzle almost scalding me.

Funny, the guy on the video I just watched tested all 5 components and sent samples of before and after to a lab and it showed the product to be more than 99% effective. You must be using it wrong.

Unservicable Piece Of Engineering, It Is Toy.

This was sold to my 90 year old father over the phone. Took a year beforeI got around to try it out for him. It is a useless piece of inpractical garbage. Intermittant steam, just growling. I have used steam cleaners in my line of work as mechanic. Please do not insult our inteligence with this piece of garbage. And how dare you sell this item to a 90 year old gent who can hardly speak english. The TV Ads are misleading.

Waste Of Money

cleaned h2o x5 after every use and it slowly got less and less pressure "pump failing" then failed, puffed the odd bit of steam , Thane do not make this steamer and are hiding behind this fact. have being offered a new pump body but I have to pay. this company should be avoided they don't care once they have sold you steamer, the steamer is unreliable and its common for pump to fail, its only begin used 150 times in 16 months I expect these to last over 5 years. wish I had read reviews instead of watching the TV add.

Had Two In 12 Months- 6 Months Appears To Be Limit!!

Bought my 1st one about 18 months ago, very pleased with how it worked.

After 6 months it blocked up wouldn't produce any steam (well maybe a quick puff every 30 secs or so.

Took it back to Argos and they exchanged it for another (not a new one).

Six months on and it has blocked again, in just the same, and tried several

descalers with no joy.

Perhaps it would of been better if I kept using it on a regular basis.

Q&A

leopeters

The cleaner has stopped steaming - does anyone have any suggestions?

Junebam

I have had my H2O about 2 years and always been pleased with it, but it is now tripping the fuse box when plugged in taken it to be repaired and was told it was the element and not worth having it repaired. This is terrible, can you advise me anything that help, thank you?

margaretmorrison

My floor cleaner keeps tripping my electric box. What should I do?

Pearl.McCormack

I live in Glasgow where we don't have a lime scale problem and my mop has stopped steaming. I have never put anything but water in the mop so how can it be blocked and how do I fix it?

123deane

The plastic case feels hot but water not heating up. Why is this?

123deane

I have only used mop three times, followed instructions for clearing nozzle, but although water heats up it will not produce steam. What is the problem?

Obrienmlann

The handle has snapped twice and now agent is not answering the phone. Obviously, the material in the handle is not strong enough. Can you suggest anything/ where can I get a replacement part?

hopper1

The plastic hose that is located in the tank split where it attaches to the water tank connection so it no longer picks up water. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, can you advise as to how to fix it? The tank appears to be a sealed unit and the filler hole is not large enough to be able to access the connection point to reattach.

unhappyintownofLindsay

H20 Elite X5 is not heating water anymore, it just puddles all the time, any ideas why? I filled the tank, plugged in the power cord, the red light turns to green; when put to on position it does make the pumping sound and water is pushed out, but it is cold water only! I turned to off position, still green light, emptied the tank, then unplugged from the wall the electrical cord. I repeated several times now, the unit just does not seem to heat water to make any steam, what am I do wrong?

Gailpatterson

Why does the X5 leave ticked floors soaking wet?

Seabed

Forgive my ignorance, what is a ticked floor? Googled this and nothing shows?

Your floor should not be 'soaked'? The problem may be that you have the steam setting too high?

Try setting one to start, and increase until you find the best one, all floors are different and require low or high settings... but a soaked floor means you have the setting possibly too high.

I hope this helps.
