Very Disappointed

We bought this a few months ago seemed ok when we first used it. It is awkward to use, very noisy, and always have to mop water after use and takes longer. Don’t waste youR money. It looks lovely but that’s about it.

Tube In Water Well Decripitated

I worked out it takes about 2 years for a breville One Cup to pay for itself by the electicity it saves. Ours did last that long plus about another ryear when it started not dlicering a full cup. noticed a leak at the top of the large pipe in the water well. Investigated and the pipe had gone brittle and bust. On touching the pipe the polythene/whatever was rock hard and bits fell off. To make the Hot Cup worth while I would expect at least 5 years of service before it died. Noticed there are no spares available for the hot cup on the Breville web site.

It is not 'ECO'-nomical!

On Button Jams

Worked well at first. The on button jammed and hot coffee splashed all over. You have to watch to switch off. Help line does not answer the phone!!!

Noisy But Great!

We have had this kettle for about 4 years and it's been great. Yes it is noisy but it so fast, I can press the boil button and by the time if put my tea bag and sugar in, the water is ready to come out. Not great if you have visitors as it then takes ages waiting for each cup to boil. If you make a lot of 1 or 2 cups then this is perfect. It does tend not to boil as hot as a normal kettle though.

Quick Cupper

I brought mine about 4 years ago and it is still going strong, when i first try it i didn't think i would like it and i must say with this model you do have to watch what size cup you use otherwise the water overflows if it is to small and yes it dose make a bit of noise ,not great when my husband is getting up as 4 in the morning for work, but for speed it is great ,and must save money as you only heat what you need . Saying that i do still have a normal kettle that i use as well ,because there are just thing that you need more water for . So if you are looking for a replacment kettle to meet all your needs then this is not the one to get ,but if you want something that is quick i would recommend this........

Garbage Product

25% coffee and 75% just plain hot water...would buy a regular coffee maker instead...I don't like drinking warm water with milk. Get A TASSIMO instead.

No Problems

I bought this one cup kettle after visiting our sons house and they had one.Immediately came home and ordered one ... then decided to read the reviews, and wondered if I had done the right thing ... however at the moment it works as it says, boils one cup in 50 secs and once we got the variable size cup right then we were well away, however we do use a jug to fill the kettle ... I personally would definitely recommend.

Minimal Life Span

I bought this and was excited to use it. Great at first but now after 6 months it either overfills the cup or only half fills it. makes all sorts of noises and is very loud and now isnt heating the water properly!! GGrrrrr.

not impressed.

Doesn't Live Up To The Hype

The cup sizes are a joke,I had to use it first on large cup then again on the small cup, which sort of defeats the object.

When I tested the temperature of the water coming out of the unit it was only 90°C which is not really hot enough to mash Tea.

Overall I was really disappointed, the unit did not live up to its claims and was a complete waste of money

This kettle is not as good as you think it to be, you would expect the cup sizes to be bigger and the largest boil to fill a mug but it dose not. Also the kettle will stop working after a year, In my view there is no value for money in this kettle. Mine lasted for one year in a family of five and being of irish parents we drink alot of tea, when you add in the filter cost i would advise all to stear clear. Plus think of the fact that you use electricity every cup.
