Stopped Working After 14 Months
I bought this kettle along with the matching toaster in green. Within 13 months the kettle has stopped working, the pin that connects to the base is slightly bent. I have contacted delongi and they were no help whatsoever. This was not a cheap kettle costing over £60 in the sale. I will not be purchasing anything further from this company

Hard To Open
Since purchasing this kettle 2.5 months ago it began to rust around the top where the lid fits on. Took it back to the store where it was purchased who replaced it with another same model and color. As with the first the lid is somewhat difficult to remove and replace so am curious to see how this one goes.

Poor Quality And Probably Dangerous.
The kettle began leaking within a few weeks and had little use since purchased for a static caravan. I haven't used it since as I don't consider water and electricity a good mix. I really couldn't recommend anyone to purchase this kettle.

Disappointing And Overpriced
Purchased 13 months ago and within weeks the black started to wear. The lid became hard to remove and now it is leaking from the handle and the base
of the kettle. This item has the appearance of a product that is much older.
Considering we have 2 people in the house and we use it around 6 times per day we would have expected this product to have lasted a longer period of time. The quality is poor and needs a great deal of adjustments made to bring
it up to a better standard. I feel this was a wast of money and i will think twice before purchasing another product from the company.

Shoddy Product
Bought this kettle and within a year it started leaking, giving me an electric shock. The chrome began to come off after about 6 mts and the overall appearance looked very worn. After 1.5 years I returned it to delonghi who told me it was my fault for using the kettle, and accused me of not treating the kettle properly thus leading to the bad appearance of the external veneer. The keelt costs about £80 and I was very uphappy with the service from delonghi and the accusations from delonghi and the product itself, its not fit for purpose, dont buy.

Developed Rust Within 2 Months
When your cup of tea has rust in it within 2 months of purchasing this kettle there is a definite case for not recommending this product.
Admittedly, the product looks good and is priced OK but rusting of the so called stainless on the inside of the kettle gives it a 1 star review. Don't buy.

Do Not Buy
Bought just over a year ago, the stuck on logo fell off quite early on. The stainless steel metal ring is indeed plastic. Discovered this when it too fell off.
Just started to leak at the base and soon to be occupying landfill.
Also, very loud. Lid is very tight too.
Looks good, yes. Bad quality, yes.
Avoid.

I Purchased This Kettle To Match My Toaster And Co
I purchased this kettle to match my toaster and coffee machine from the same range, and although this design appealed to me slightly less than the other two appliances, it's still a lovely little addition to my kitchen.
I choose to get this in a black gloss colour (although not my favourite that this range comes in, it suited my kitchen the best) and I was afraid that it may easily scratch, but so far, this has not been a problem.
The kettle holds 1.7L and boils super fast, although yes, this does make it a little noisy. My only slight complaint is that the position on the capacity measure is hidden behind the handle which means it can be a little hard to see, but then again, I don't find this much of a problem as its not a feature I tend to use anyway.
A lovely kettle, good quality and a nice design, if a little pricey - I believe we paid around £60-£70.

I Had Seen Mixed Reviews On This Beauty But The St
I had seen mixed reviews on this beauty but the styling veered me towards the positives and I'm glad it did. It is sheer class. The Ferarri of Kettles - as it is Italian! I had see some reviewers on retail websites moan about the noise but it is highest power rating Kettle you can buy at 3000 Watt, that, combined with a Stainless Steel body it's bound to have some grunt!! A true Ferarri with the class Italian style that goes with it. Boils in next to no time and I never had any taint issue also seen mentioned once or twice. The noise is no different from any other 3kW metal kettle to my ears so to those who moan I say, get a 2000W plastic Vauxhall!

Good Point - A Very Stylish Kettle That Looks Grea
Good point - A very stylish kettle that looks great in the kitchen. Bad points - Extremely loud to boil, can even hear it upstairs when it's on. Water level indicator is hard to see, on/off switch is flimsy. Still love it though.
