We Only Had This Kettle 3 Weeks, In Which Time, It

We only had this kettle 3 weeks, in which time, it started leaking water. Also didn't switch off once, was sat there boiling away. We have since returned the product and received a full refund.

The kettle was very reasonably priced, which is fine if it does it's job, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

I would not recommend this kettle to anyone.

This Onn Ke7059b Kettle From Asda Lasted Over 18

This Onn KE7059B kettle from Asda lasted over 18 months before the filter in the spout snapped. Can't find spares, but the kettle is still going well. Other comments on black marks on the worktop, cable getting caught and leaking have never happened with mine, but I just wish I could find a new filter plate.

I suppose if I did find one the price and postage would nearly be as much as a new kettle from Asda as they are so cheap to start with. 18 months being used about 10 times a day is better than any of our previous kettles which have burnt out, stopped switching off and one even leaked into the electrical circuit. Not a bad model from a cheap supplier. I would certainly buy another.

Onn Ke7059b (asda Kettle) Was A Reasonable Price

Onn KE7059B (Asda Kettle) was a reasonable price- good appearance with black and chrome. However - leaves black marks on the countertop each time it is moved- leaks a few drops now after a few months of use (my friend has one in her home and it leaking a puddle with each use. I would not recommend it to someone needing a long-lasting item.

The Onn Ke7059b (asda Kettle)has A Nice Appearance

The Onn KE7059B (Asda Kettle)has a nice appearance with chrome and black and is a good price. It leaks a little to a lot after a few months of use (mine leaks a few drops); Also the cord seems to get caught easily in the on-off switch or on the base, so the kettle is not sitting flat.

I am okay with this purchase for my use which is temporary, as I am an expat, renting my house.I would not, however, recommend this product for someone needing a longer term of service.
