Re Repairs

This appliance is very efficient and does all that is claimed for it however when problems occur getting them fixed unless you live near to to an approved repairer is expensive when you add on postage to and from repairer.I have had two of these appliances and have had the same E4 fault on both of them and the fault occurs with some regularity even when using a water removing funnel to fill them.Maybe they run better in dryer climates than Britain and that is why some suppliers won't post to uk.

Inverter Heater 3002w Paraiffin

i bought the "inverter heater 3002w" in 2011 in anticipation of a bad winter here in the UK. it is an expensive buy i think for a domestic supplementary heater @£220. it has no wick like the conventional paraffin heater and the advice is to burn at minimum premium grade paraffin as low grade will damage it! it says to clean air intakes regularly but if you have a 'relatively' clean home this isn't as necessarily as often as advised as the filter holes are quite large anyway. it has many safety elements to it, empty warning, overflow tray, cut out on impact or rapid movement, carbon monoxide cut out (low oxygen). it also has user electronic control for thermal variability and off/on, lowest setting at 12c to a maximum of 30c. it heats a room 5m x 4m easily and is capable of double that. it's fast to heat a room with the auto-variable speed fan that it has in-built to blast out the heated air. it needs mains power to operate. the odour of paraffin is minimum and briefly on ignition and shut down only, in between that there is none!! i have waited this long to review to make sure that i could write the best review on it as possible. it's construction is excellent, not tinny or shabby with cool walls, the only place hot externally is the air outlet (obviously) do not use polishes or fluids to clean the outer body. i wish that more places in the uk would sell these inverter heaters so they would be cheaper, they are also far more economical than the standard paraffin heater "up to 59 hours on 5litres", whereas a standard paraffin heater is usually about 15hours give or take. i bought this online via "charlies direct", who delivered it promptly within two days free of charge.

would i recommend this type of heater YES! i would also recommend charlies direct too for their service.

Before I buy one, where could I see a demonstration of one and are they suitable for a static caravan?
