Lasted Years But On/off Now Caput
Inherited this machine with a BnB purchase so says something for it as no other ice machine was supporting bar operations. I guess it is durable as this must have been here for at least 10 years. It's the ZB-12. Now the circuit board is half hanging out and needs fiddling about with to start it off. It probably takes about 8-10 mins to produce the first 9 bullets of ice. The fan is noisy and ice makes a clatter when it falls in to the plastic tray. But you know what, for £60 quid, to collect, bag and store, brilliant machine. Is it still economical, probably not.
I will upgrade, pay around £200 for a quiet, 24 squares in 10 minutes and hopefully it will last along as this one. I will keep it as back up. How strange is that!!!!

It Was Great When It Worked, But Three Different T
It was great when it worked, but three different things went wrong with the ice maker. Now I am looking to buy another portable ice maker, but am afraid to take a chance on another Contessa.
