I know what the guy means when he said they butchered his hair...

I had the same lady... Over fulfilling herself how great she was and worked in London blah blah.

Showed her a picture of a cut I wanted and like the previous guy had quite alot of hair, sweeping fringe.

Within seconds my hair was shaved practically to skin sides and back, she was extremely heavy handed and my undercut more resembled a bowl cut. Even the fringe did not escape her hands, saying she could make it sharper by using the clippers to cut it neater.... I Umm and arrghed not really that keen but she assured me that I would like it... Well by the time she had done it was half way on my for head, nor was it straight.

The young girls who work there watched in wonder of her teaching!! Never saying anything except one, when needed a toilet break saying I was very brave to have such a cut. Wtf....!!!!

I was in there about an an hour for a cut that was every inch a very short bowl cut, my boyfriend was so cross he marched me down to the cheap barber down the road and was completely shaved bald in way of punishment....

Which I cont to wear 2 yrs on or whatever.

Mubu is deffo not the same place when I went nr great central railway, certainly no M. or B. To make u feel welcome or give you a great cut. So be warned.

went into this hairdressers as it was getting late and everywhere else was busy got quite a warm welcome as i entered i sat down waiting and was offered a drink which was nice, soon after a oldish lady asked me to take a seat i explained what i wanted and showed 2 or 3 photos which she seemed confident to cut.I'd been growing my hair for a couple of months so i could have it sweeped to the side and back.right from the start she seemed uncomfortable she was very rough pulling at my hair she kept leaving me to answer her phone for a minute or so at a time!.I said i wanted the length on top keeping and a grade 0 going into a 1 on sides and going lower at the back where she seemed confident to do so but leaving a line all the way round and not faded in to the hair, anyway she tried to do her best in fading it taking more and more off each time with failing to get it to blend in the 2 other female hairdressers could see i was getting annoyed with it i told her its too short now and far to high almost a marine cut leaving just a fringe to sweep back and no length on top annoyed as hell now apparently this womens had hairdressing shops in London and been doing it for 30 years she was telling me! i don't think so.The lady said if i wasn't happy i didn't have to pay for the cut me being too nice and biting my tongue i said i'l still give you something she carried on taking more off and standing back checking it and the amount on talc she used on the brush to the sides and back of my hair was choking my out she also underlined my beard thankfully she didn't mess that up. finally she showed me the sides and back with the mirror it wasnt good so she was taking more off i'd had enough now so over half hour in the chair sweating with the stress of it all she said call it £10 i just wanted to leave she didn't even blowdry it to style it never again think she should take up sheep shearing!!!

Booked in at Mubu to get my hair trimmed. I thought you can't go wrong with a trim, how wrong was I. I came out 'hacked'

After spending the best part of 2 years trying to grow my layers down they are now short and uneven. I would not recommend this salon.

Had my hair done by Sam, he did a fantastic job, he has made me feel a million dollars!! I have never had so many compliments on my hair!!! Not only did he do a brilliant job, he is a lovely person. Will definetley be returning!!!

Mubu is AMAZING! The salon is simple yet beautiful,atmosphere was very friendly. Bridget extremely kind and attentive from the minute I walked through the door to leaving, I had a colour cut and style by Maddy who is very creative and displays confidence and passion in her work. I love my hair, the colour is perfect and the cut n style is just lush! I would recommend Mubu to everybody ( and the hot chocolate!)

oh my god, my partner has just come back from having his hair cut at Mubu.it must be the best cut ever and has taken years off him!!!!!loved the shaved fringe and although i would've liked it taken much shorter on his hairline it looks really smart as it does short and sculptured around the ears and neck. he said he loved the whole mubu experience from the welcome, hairwash,head massage and vibrating chair!!to maddy taking time to listen and give him a great cut.

loved mubu hairdressing loughborough, staff and atmosphere was great, good consultation, felt like i really trusted the stylist. had my hair washed in an amazing reclining massage chair and had a really nice hair wash and head massage. the wash area is tucked away with low lighting so i felt like i could really relax without being on show to the rest of the salon.

When my hair was being cut the stylist talked to me about my hair and asked questions about it and made me feel like i was actually getting a hairstyle i was going to be able to do, which i can! it is really easy for the first time ever, i'm sure its because they took the time to find out about my hair and my lifestyle. The products i got are great and smell lovely too.

I love mubu hairdressing and think it is the best place by far in the area!
