Terrible Product

I used the Lift & Luminate, as well as the Restore & Renew face and neck serum. Got a terrible pimple like itchy rash on my face and around lips and had hives and rash all over my neck that lasted for 4-5 days and had severe dryness during the healing process. Both products were dumped in the wastebasket. Waste of money and I would NEVER recommend these products to anyone.

Dreadful And Dangerous Product

I used this for a couple of weeks and started getting small areas of raised red rash, small pimples and dry skin. i thought it was my age and hormones (54) and put more on. It sinks in and initially feels nice. However my face became very sowllen, dry tight burnt like itchy rough skin, with red angry rash and more small 'pimples'. Particulary fierce on my swollen cheeks. My eyes were dry and itchy and I felt ill. It was week ago that I stopped using it and the rash is going down but still there and my skin is still dry, tight and feels burnt. Im taking anti histamine to help the reaction and hoping my skin will repair itsself over time. BE WARNED it does not suit eceryone and can cause allergic reactions. Heaven knows what goes in it!

Breakouts!

When I started using this cream I broke out in quite a few pimples, I've never had pimples; especially now that I am 50-plus years of age. Once I stopped using it, and went to another moisturizing cream, my skin cleared up again.

I would definitely not recommend!

Used 2 Mths On Right Side And No Difference

My skin did feel a bit softer after 2 weeks but by looking at it there is no difference in 2 months compared to the left side. I don't have many wrinkles for over 60 , maybe because I always had oily skin but it isnt as oily now. But the fine wrinkles and spots are the same as the left. Not wasting my money on skin products that

are shown on tv or internet.

No. 7 Protect Perfect Serum

been using this cream that I purchased from target, on the advice of a good housekeeping review on the today show, and I swear by it. I am a 50 year old woman and I have been using it for 1 year now and I swear my skin looks great. I exfoliate my face every day then apply the cream. I have started putting it all over my body I love it so much.

Not Worth It!

It has a nice feel to it, but as for anything else forget it! I had the serlum, Day and night creams and eye cream. None of the products did anything at all apart from my face did feel smooth, But baby lotion makes my skin smooth! I tried it for over 6 months, costing a lot of money it is not cheap, and just another let down.

Scary Burnt/tight Effect, Very Drying.

I used Boots No. 7 Protect and Perfect Anti-wrinkle serum religiously for about three weeks, and was very happy with the results, the wrinkles were fainter, my skin did look softer, excellent I thought. Until one morning I had dry, red, patchy, blotchy skin on the sides of my face and my forehead all day which felt as if I'd been out in the sun too long (this was during our two weeks of rain!). A tight and burnt feeling. The skin felt rough to the touch. The little lines from the side of the nose to the chin were red, as if they'd been badly scratched, with dry skin peeling off on the surface. The laughter lines around my eyes were swollen looking and the actual lines were red. Awful. I stopped using the serum, and all other products, using just Lotil for moisture. That night I tried E4 cream with scant success, and as I couldn't afford another day of looking awful, I put on Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream the next night, which usually solves everything. Next day I looked about normal, but the rough feeling of the skin was still there, It took three days to fnally go. I couldn't believe it was this highly recommended cream, so I used it one more time, and yes, it is totally the cause. Hyper-allergenic my giddy aunt! Very disappointed indeed.

I'm so delighted to read this- I thought I was having some major auto-immune response (as suggested by my GP) because I had a very similar reaction to this when I used the Intense Advanced serum around my eyes. I actually have huge water-filled bags under my eyes and bright red, puffy, dry skin that feels as if it has been scratched. I couldn't believe the serum was the cause - "hypoallergenic"!!

Q&A

What is the best no7 serum for over 70?

tanyarobinson

Is it possible for a staff member at boots would be able to look up information of where to buy the old range of no 7 cosmetics items products from 1993? I know that the old range no7 from 1993 all cosmetics contained sunscreen which is in fact found in Avon. I do suffer with a rare skin problem and the old range of no7 is good for my skin.
