Not A Miracle But Close

I bought this cream on a whim from Savers for £2.99 a couple of weeks ago as I really liked the celestial blue packaging, and because I had had good results with all the other Garnier products I had purchased so far.

Once unboxed I found a lovely scented cream which was quite springy to the touch and absorbed surprisingly quickly. A lot of other night creams I have used in the past have often left an oil slick on my skin, even though I have really dry skin. This leaves an almost waxy residue on the skin which balls and rolls off if you press down on it too harshly.

Garnier bills this product as "de-tiring, anti-aging, skin transforming care" and I can agree to them to an extent; in the mornings my skin looks refreshed and rejuvenated. I don't have that many wrinkles, but my skin does feel firmer and dare I say happier.

Garnier says that this product is based on Korean skincare trends and Korean cosmetics companies are known to set trends which most Western cosmetic companies slavishly follow.

I can honestly say that this product does deliver, though I think that more youthful skins would benefit from this product more than mature ones. I would most certainly recommend this for those who are seeing the first signs of aging in their skins, but users with more mature skins would benefit more from Ultra Lift range.

I have not finished this tub yet and thus have not decided whether I will repurchase or not. However, this product is a really good backup to have at your disposal - especially after a deep cleanse or a hot cloth treatment.
