See Them.pick Them.love Them.

i think this optitions is very good because, the glasses are look nice and they fit them just right, and also do it an old way so nothing goes wrong...i would tell my family how good it is by saying how cool the glasses look on you and thy always find the perfect pair of glasses that fit your face and choose your colour and shape...

i like it because you can choose what shape and colour you want there is always a pair that suits you...

i would of liked to know if i could mend them myself before i purchased them...

Brilliant Service

My son has patches and when he wears them his glasses slip a bit. I have been to two high street chains and felt that both times the glasses we were advised to purchase didn't fit properly. In Kirks, the staff were friendly and I really felt that they had my child's best interests at heart. At One high street chain, we paid £50 in addition to the NHS voucher and the lens dropped out of the glasses after a couple of weeks. The glasses never fitted my child in the first place. We were recommended Kirks by a friend and I can honestly say it was brilliant - great service and great value too.

Left long time favourite Dolland and Aitchison after they were taken over by Boots who are company domiciled in Zug in Switzerland, presumable for tax minimisation, and are owned by the originators of the junk bond KKR in New York.

As my father and aunt suffered from Glaucoma I wanted to find an optician on whom I could depend. I booked at Kirk's and was delighted to be seen by an optometrist who told me he was retired from working at a major London eye hospital.

Everything was satisfactory with the usual minor changes to be expected at my age!

Far from coming under pressure to buy expensive frames I was advised to continue with my existing glasses for distance and for work at the screen.

Altogether a good experience - I am on the books and hope to be so for many years.
