New Car Insurance
After trying online repeatedly...no use!! Had to phone. After waiting 38 mins they cut me off. Back to square one. Another 45 min wait. Then told they don't insure 22 reg cars!! Never heard anything so ridiculous. Ended up I was in so much stress( disabled) I was asked "Will I just cancel your policy?" I stupidly said yes. So I now have a car that is not insured but have to take it to the garage to receive my new car....which I gave insured elsewhere.

Awful - Avoid These
I wanted to change my address with Rias - Their website said that it was not possible to do this online and that I should ring them - whilst on hold for over an hour I was regularly told by their automated system that I should change my address online. I couldn't get a response and after an hour I gave up. God knows what I would have to go through if I needed to make a claim. Whatever happened to customer service? It ain't at Rias that's for sure.

Bullying An Eighty Two Year Old Man Into Submissio
Bullying an eighty two year old man into submission disgusts me on every level!
I have waited on the phone for one hour and fifteen minutes and when I got through I was cut off. I am back in the queue so have decided to explain my issue with this company. My eighty two year old father had storm damage to the roof of his house over three weeks ago. The winds were recorded at over sixty miles per hour at the time. He called Rias insurance who he has a policy with and after one hour and fifteen minutes he got through. He explained the event and the recorded winds were checked by the company and they accepted that he was insured for the damage. They said they would appoint a roofer to repair the damage.(C.R.Morris LTD) A week later a a man turned up with a camera and said he was there to assess the damage and he came from an independent company. He told my father that the roof had been repaired before and took full advantage of my fathers age related vulnerability and then left. My father had not heard from them so after two weeks he called Rias and was told they would not be carrying out the repairs, he asked why and they said the assessor had rejected the claim. I have a legal representative onboard as water is likely to be entering the property by now, and they are in breach of their contract! Bullying an eighty two year old man into submission disgusts me on every level! Other houses in the road had similar damage but they have been repaired! ..I am still waiting in the queue to make my formal complaint before proceedings.

my partner has lost his job due to COVID and we called to see if due to not using car for as much mileage we could get a revised monthly payment, only to be told " been four months since you lost you re job, you should have gotten another one by now!!" and then if you cant afford the payments it at now then ill cancel the policy!! even after telling him we have a disabled child so need the car, i am truly gobsmacked with the attitude he had.

They Blame You
I took out fully comp it covers vandalism. I put in a claim only for them to put up my premium the next year by £500 and take away your no claims. then they say it's your fault and seems they want your premium but don't want to payout.

Shocking Customer Servce.
Expected to be out of pocket with a policy that had nearly 3 months left. When asked f I still had the car I said no well.. sort of (I was going to give it to my son). I told them I did not want to cancel the policy if I had to pay. I checked with my son and then rang back to confirm as I did not feel comfortable with their response.
They had cancelled my policy! If I hadn't double checked I would have had no insurance.
Very rude. They said I did not say I was giving it to my son, I had hung up etc.
Instead of reinstating my insurance they were just rude! DO NOT USE. they are happy to take your money but when they have you they treat you badly.

Over 70 They Cancel Policy
Received a letter from Rias saying I do no longer meet their Criteria. As I have reached 70in the last year I assume this is the reason. Will not tell you when you ask the reason. Have been doing since I was seventeen, no can nvuctins or points.
Sent one letter then another recorded so I had to go to Post Office as I wasn’t in when Post came. Not happy they seem to want to cause me as much hassle as possible. Then to top it they send me an offer on Hous Insurance as a valued customer.
One thing for certain me or my family will never ever use Rias again.

Trying to clarify info on a policy on behalf of my elderly father, either the phones were never answered or the phone numbers no longer existed. Even their Customer Complaints phone number did not exist.
Emails were ignored.
Take your money and run.

Rias I Dont Believe It
If you join rias first year good price , have a accident( not your fault )took them 7 months to sort it out ? change your vehicle insurance goes up by 35% what ever car you change too, plus £25.00 charge. renewal of insurance well that's the one were you move on completely, was £485.00 renewal £998.00 ughhhh new quote from co-op £486.00 they say they are rated 5 star my time with them would not exceed 1 star. customer service average .

After Grilling For 40 Mts By A Lady I Was Offered
after grilling for 40 mts by a lady I was offered a quote 2/3 more than other insurers, don't ever go near this company , not helpful at all
