Cheap Insurance Bad Service!!! You’ve Been Warned

This company needs to look at the members of staff their hiring, very rude .

**avoid** At All Costs!

I took out insurance with Go Skippy unbeknown to myself these were the underwriters.I took it out because the insurance was the cheapest and Go Skippy had good reviews. Unfortunately I had an accident in which other party took off before I could get licence plate number so had to do a own fault claim. I Informed Go Skippy who were sympathetic, they then put me on to some other insurance company who took all of my details . It then took two months to sort out my claim. After my claim was finalised I then received an email from Go Skippy with a forwarding letter from Southern Rock stating that they were cancelling my insurance in seven days because I was a risk to them. I thought this is what you take insurance out for! I could understand if I had convictions or endorsements or made loads of claims, but I am a middle aged person with a clean licence. Because of this cancellation I now have to declare it each time I take out insurance. I have just applied for insurance for a same make and model car but a year older than my previous car, I previously paid £331 for a years insurance I have just been quoted between £918 and £1600 for the same cover.Steer well clear.

seriously the most unprofessional, rude, useless service ive ever encountered...for starters try and find a contact number online for them...good luck! .they are covered by ccg, who also can not put you correctly through to southern rock themselves.

i had the call dropped whilst in a waiting que THREE items in a row, i had a manager give me the wrong number too ring, another manager transfer me through to a house insurance company instead of southern rock/eldon, and the lady i spoke to there told me it is common for them to incorrectly put people through to them. currently almost 2.5hrs into trying to investigate an apparent claim against my policy which i was never made aware of! been told by one advisers theirs no claim against it, another that there is, another that they cant see i still have a policy...its insanely and almost comically incompetent.

Avoid!!!!

The worst insurance company ever. Couldn't get rid of them. They was threatening me witch stupid charges.. etc.... and at the end I had problems to get my NCB certificate.... I don't know if anyone have different experience with them but for me they r rubbish..

Same here! They've threatened to cancel my policy numerous times even though I have sent them documents

They requested. Throughout Christmas and now again while I'm in hospital. I'm sure we have rights, this is unacceptable considering i paid for the year!

Appalling Service. Avoid At All Costs

Having always compared annually this came into view as an option in April 2017 and I took InsurAnce that was underwritten by southern rock. As my car is used for towing this was declared as modified. Upon contacting to advise of change of address today i have now had them cancel my policy and hAve 7 dAys to find new insurance as they say I never declAred and they don't do Dr modifications.

This in it's self is frustrating but they want to charge a cancellation figure of £75 to do so.in my search for new insurance i have to declare that I hAve had Insurance declined and I either get no quotes or extortionate quotes not touch this. Company

Disgusting company... Avoid avoid... Please make sure you don't suffer like i have and check your policy (mine was go skippy) is not a front backed up by eldon and southern rock. their staff are all awful and are clearly just getting through the day to earn their money. No empathy, no sympathy no understanding. Clueless i would literally give them minus stars if i could.

After a year go skippy sent a quote £500 more than the year before!!!! A Joke, really hard to get through and when I did they couldn't care less, not even sure they knew what they were doing!!!

My partner had his policy cancelled within 6 days. Such a waste of £110 we put down for the deposit. Happy to take your money but not provide a decent service! Nothing but bad reviews, wish I'd seen these first !

Best Insurance Ever

Hello all, i cant thank the underwriters Southern Rock, for Eldon Insurance enough, my husband and i was involved in an accident recently, and on inspection of our car they noticed we had tinted windows, which we didn't declare as a modification on our policy, long story short, we ended up having a void insurance, as you can imagine we were pretty devastated, so we decided to put a heartfelt letter together and then sent it to all parties dealing with this void insurance, low and behold we had a letter back shortly after sending, saying that we can see you didn't intentionally go out to make a fraudulent claim it was a simple error, so we are reinstating you, and on top of that, we've just discovered that they have given us a free year of insurance too! Woop woop So people if you feel let down, get pen to paper and express your feelings, its worked out for us and cant thank this Insurance company enough! Fantastic.

I Would Give Them 0 If I Could

Good luck trying to get through, they offer you NO help whatsoever (but they're more than willing to take your cash). They're unreliable, unsupportive and useless.

I didn't realise they'd put an accident on my record until A YEAR LATER when my new insurance company told me! An accident that wasn't my fault!!!! They never thought to notify me that this would go on my record and my premiums would almost double because of it! Not one letter/email or phonecall! Shocking! They're cheap for a reason- stay away!

I have recently had a accident and started a claim with my insurer Southern Rock only to find out I irresponsibly and unknowingly let my M.O.T run out by a month and have learnt that they will not pay the claim because of this, is there anything anyone knows of what my options could be or do I just have to suck it up?
