Do not buy a dental insurance from BUPA. Personally, I feel they use misleading terms in their policy documentation, they take a very long time to provide/send the policy details by which time you will not remember of all the specifics (red tape) of the phone call (in my case) and the customer service representatives appear inconsistent with the information they provide which does not follow the policy details in some cases.

Very disappointed with this firm. DO NOT EVER WANT TO BE CONTACTED BY THEM. In my opinion, it is also not a cost effective way to cover dental treatment. Too much red tape and uncertainties as to whether you will be paid.

I've been paying BUPA Dental Insurance for over 9 years. I finally submitted a claim for x-rays, an extraction, and scaling. They said that it was routine and therefore no payout!
