Simple But Skilled

I have been with the Co-operative Bank since 1989 and rarely find another business in ANY INDUSTRY that has such well informed and helpful staff. Their website runs well, their telephone banking is excellent and the staff in their branches are efficient and approachable. I have used the breakdown cover and travel insurance that comes with the Privilege Premier Account, both being very customer friendly products. I am delighted to bank somewhere that has ethical policies, invests in community projects and has a positive approach to the environment.

On top of all of that they have the best hold music EVER, it is upbeat, relaxing and sometimes I'm even disappointed to come off hold.

Before I joined Co-op I was very dissatisfied with my previous bank. There are less Co-op branches than with other banks and since I moved house my nearest branch is 20 miles away but using the combination of telephone and online banking and occasionally services at the post office I find this excellent.

I Dislike Being Pushed Into Getting A Privilege Ac

I dislike being pushed into getting a Privilege Account. Its never what I want and this is always being sold whenever I call. Why should I have to make a subscription for travel insurance and a mobile phone. I would prefer to retain this money in my account. Also if you say that you are not interested you are threatened and this is ruthless banking.

Ethical Bank. Great News. The Sooner People Realis

Ethical Bank. Great news. The sooner people realise the harm their big high street banks are doing to the poorer nations the better. Very friendly customer services and rarely put on hold. I did have to wait 30 seconds once!

Great bank. Hope this world banking crisis doesn't affect the Co-operative. If this bank was the only one in the world, I'd be well happy.

The Co-op Had A Really Bad Reputation For Customer

The Co-op had a really bad reputation for customer service throughout the 1980s and it seems as if they haven't changed at all. People who claim to be establishing a benchmark for ethical banking should treat their customers better, not worse, than the usual banks.

Co-op Privilege Bank Account Is Good For Those Tha

Co-op Privilege Bank Account is good for those that travel frequently as you get travel insurance provided year round. I got cheesed off with barclays ripping me off, and making me feel like just a number, so moved 2 years ago & haven't looked back. I also have a Smile account as this pays one of the highest rates of interest and comes with a fee free £500 overdraft.

I've Been A Customer Of The Co-op For About Five Y

I've been a customer of the Co-Op for about five years now. For the last couple I've been a Privilege account customer. It's good for your conscience to have you're money in an ethical bank no doubt, unfortunately their staff can be alternately rude and pushy. The idea of 'customer service' still to reach Manchester perhaps.
