Lloyds Bank Just Keep Getting It Wrong!
I have been a Lloyds banking customer for more than 34 years, and over the past few years things have just been going so Wrong!! For example My wife opened her own account a few years ago and for some strange reason , the account I opened has been merged to hers?? All mail is addressed to my wife even for my Account!!
I have a Premier Vantage account and the wife has a Basic classic account, and the so called privileges for the Premier just don't happen, I have been into my local branch so many times to report this fact but it just seems to fall on Deaf ears! There are also numerous other incidents but again these can't be rectified.
So Lloyds Bank thank you for a very poor service I just hope that Barclays Banking group can provide the service I require.

They Keep Making Mistakes With My Account...
But they seem to rely on you spotting the mistake -, then paying you £50 or so to redeem themselves.
I think they have worked out that training their customer service people is more expensive than paying off the customers who spot their mistakes.

Been With Lloyds For Over 30 Years ,used To Be A G
Been with LLoyds for over 30 years ,used to be a good bank with good service, now it's like the rest - how much can they extract from you with the least possible effort. The best item of service (for myself and my wife) was the full statement available from an ATM which was allways available and correct to that day and time. They have now discontinued this service- GET THIS !! "because the law has been changed and we are not allowed to let you have these statements" YES ! thats what the customer services told me, they graciously offered to send me a statement through the post and guess what, they're allways a week out of date. Sign up for telephone banking they suggest or how about banking on line Sir, if SIR wishes we can alert him by text to his mobile phone about his balance, I'me losing the bloody will to live, I only want to go into the bank (yes they still have them, big posh buildings full of demented would be customers)and see what has gone in and out of my account, I will speak to my dear wife when she has finished trying to get through to a human being at customer services who has'nt taken leave of their senses and see if there is room under the bed for a good old fashioned biscuit tin in which I can stuff my ever shrinking pension welcome to the world of the SELECT ACCOUNT

Lloyds Tsb Have So Many Numbers For Different Issu
Lloyds TSB have so many numbers for different issues, and if you happen to call the wrong one it's an endlessy being redirected - last week it took me 2 hours on the phone and there was no solution to my problem, because it was not standard. In the 2 hours I went through 3 different depts and varied answers. The knowledge and customer service skills of operators vary widely. However, pretty standard information is accessible automatically and if you need material they are fast in posting it.

Lloyds Tsb Started Out Ok, But As Soon As There Wa
Lloyds TSB started out ok, but as soon as there was a problem I could not find anyone who could help me. There customer service as a whole is a poor, the individual people are nice enough but the system as a whole is useless. It took me weeks to get my password for internet banking and I got charged £180 for being overdrawn by £30 for 2 weeks! Every time I phoned them with a problem I got passed from person to person or told to phone another number, the branches couldn't help me either. This cost me a lot of money because none of their 'customer service' numbers are free phone. Very frustrating.

Virtually Impossible To Get Through On The Phone I
Virtually impossible to get through on the phone if you are out of the country. I need to speak to Commercial Street Branch with speed, no chance.....I was told by a polite staff member, I will ask someone in Commercial Street to phone you. HO HO HO. as Father Christmas would say. A no no.Im afraid, NOT A WORD. Numbers with an 8 in front (Freephone ) are unobtainable from abroad. So what do I do next? Change Banks I think.

Have Been Banking With Lloyds Tsb For 14 Years. S
Have been banking with Lloyds TSB for 14 years. Stay well clear of them. For years friends have been telling me that Lloyds TSB isn't a good bank to deal with, but I didn't listen, as I always had money going in regularly.
As a reviewer said, they offer you all the perks when you don't need it, and when you need it they're not interested. Have been banking with them for 14 years, and in the past 6 months where i've been going through some financial difficulties, they've behaved appallingly. After I told them of my difficulties, they still continued to slap on hefty charges and then sent my details on to collectors who sent a letter demanding the full balance (and i didn't owe them thousands).
I telephoned Lloyds TSB, who told me that I hadn't exceeded my overdraft limit after all. However, when she told me my overdraft limit, it didn't coincide with my agreed limit on paper. I then discovered that Lloyds TSB had extended my overdraft limit so that they can pay themselves all the ridiculous charges every month. There was I, trying to get out of debt with them, and there they were extending my overdraft without my knowledge, as though due to my unexpected circumstances, I was suddenly nobody worth talking to. To date I am just over £500 into my overdraft, and they're still treating me like something scraped off a shoe.
So those thinking of going to Lloyds TSB - forget it.
I was loyal to them for 14 YEARS with my money, however within the 6 months I had of financial difficulty, they didn't want to know, and used it to extract even more money from me.
(Oh yes, and to those thinking of getting a credit card from them - under my circumstances I was covered by the payment protection I took out on it but they cancelled the card, making the payment protection null and void.)
My situation is a temporary one, so the day WILL arrive when i'll be back in credit. However when that day arrives I'll be in that bank closing my account.
Yes I would bank up the above comments. Lloyds is not a customer focused bank but a shareholder focused bank. I had to break a term deposit earning a negative return of 1%. They charged me the interest this deposit had made, about 450GBP, for the pleasure of doing this, as though they were doing me a favour. Complete rip-off merchants.

I Been With Lloyds Tsb, Last Month I Went To Branc
I been with Lloyds TSB, last month I went to branch to ask them, can I get any overdraft, they told me no, but they told me we could offer you Lloyds TSB credit card with £3500 credit limit and 15.9 APR, they asked me to sign in a firm. Later 10 days I was received a credit card just with £500 credit limit and the APR rate with 27.9 %, can you imagine?, again I went to bank and asked them why it happened they told that under certain circumstances they will do like that. I asked them to close the credit card with them. upto now they still have not done that.
