Hellish Experience

Waiting for personal information to be proof waiting and excuses. Still waiting but receiving nothing but excuses instead. Told them is fraud on my account but no one listens. Beyond incompetent. They just do not care. Worst bank imaginable and no one listens to you. Hellish experience.

Santander New App Forcing Me To Change Banks

Absolutely hate the Santander new App. No notice given that it was changing. Horrid layout. Cannot change payment reference without having to create a new payee EVERY TIME! Made a payment and selected ‘today’ but payment defaults to the next day! How does that work with the need for online instant banking ???? Sadly gonna have to change banks as have been happy with Santander up to now ????

New Santander App.

I have been using old app for online banking for many years with no problems.

Since Santander has updated their app I’m finding numerous problems.

I absolutely hate the lay out.

It harder to navigate. No one available to speak to on app.

I do not recommend.

Sadly it’s put me off banking with yourselves.

Seriously thinking of changing banks.

Certainly The Worst Bank Ever

I recently attempted to clear a family members debt. The transfer account was flagged by Santander. I cancelled the transaction there and then. The bank froze all my accounts even though mine were clear.. they also froze my online access! They’ve closed the kiosks and forced their clients online but at they don’t give an adequate explanation as to why my service and accounts are blocked. I’ve put in a formal complaint and spoken to their staff daily but 6 days later my accounts are still blocked. Absolutely the worst bank ever and I’ve told them I’m transferring to another bank, they really couldn’t give a damn!

Updated Can't Get On Line

Since the app has changed I can't get on to my on line banking on app n other one sent for passcode 22 times this week n haven't received one code

Not happy as need my on line banking as don't live near a bank

Avoid Santander Branch Peckham As They Harassed Me

Be aware of santander in peckham, as they will constantly keep harassing you on private number ehich is very unprofessional to delete my review which honest review and as you can see peckham santander has bad reviews anyways which im not suprised and i will be taking this matter further if they continue to harass and threaten me.

very unprofessional and had very rude attitude and refused to let me talk to manager so i had to get manager to solve the issue and this has happened whilst i was on phone call with santander.

Santander Employee Acting Like A Sham Artist

A person recently phoned me, who claimed to be Santander employee and asked me to state my Date of Birth "to pass security".

At that point I had no way of knowing, whether this really was a Santander employee calling me, or a fraudster fishing for my personal information.

Guess my surprise, when a few weeks later, I learned that this really was a genuine Santander employee !?

I complained to Santander about this practice, but they have the audacity to defend their practice, and do not want to change their security policy.

This sets a dangerous precedent. If Santander acts in a way, that customers can not distinguish a genuine Santander employee from a trickster, this is exactly what the sham artists want, because it helps them to clear out people's bank accounts.

Worst bank ever, do not use their services. Went to a branch to deposit a cheque, they told me to go and do it on the app. Went to the app it does not read my check. Chatted to support they told me to contact customer service. Called customer service they told me I had to go to the branch. AVOID!

Timewasters - Deal With You But Only When It Suits

Applied for a savings account at the start of October - 2.75% easy access. They emailed to say they had approved application and would be setting it up, then didn't hear anything. I chased it up and they said they had dropped the application as they had taken to long to proccess it! Like that is my fault they cant sort themselves out! And now they wont offer it anymore, they have downgraded it to a 1.8%.

Really wasted a lot of time and I could have put my money elsewhere if only I had known they were such time wasters.

A good mind to take my current account to a different provider.
