Tracking

Tracking so say out, failed, wanted £70.00 to fix we said no. Took the car to our trusted tyre specialist, and got tested everything was in order

Needless to say, we will NOT be using this dealership again.

Qualified Technicians?????

I was charged over two hundred pounds for two hours labour to diagnose what I told them was a diesel knock on a Ford Focus tdci.

After paying the bill I read the report. It said " inconclusive fault possibly with the injectors, 2 & 4 injectors have been recently replaced so possibly 1 & 3 injectors may need replacing. A new timing belt has also recently been fitted so it is unlikely to be the problem. Injector coding has been done". "Done"?? What does that mean? Checked or rectified?

What kind of idiot do I appear, yes I know the timing belt was changed because I looked unlike the tech who read it in my service book. I know for certain that the belt cover had not been touched.

I had the injectors pulled and tested (elsewhere) to be told that all the injectors were reasonably new 2&4 were very new but they were operating outside the diesel knock sensor parameters. A recode is required.

I went back to Allen Ford for a complementary recheck to confirm the second opinion, they of course are not interested.

The only reason I went to this dealership is because they had the diagnostics and I didn't.

Perhaps they need to train more monkeys to use them correctly.

Really disapointed with the service useless staff first you have to ask few times for appoiment and then they dont even want to talk to you i needed a code for my radio and they told me to buy a new one because they cant find a code

Are Ford Motor Company Happy With This Representation!

Extremely poor after sales service, happy to take your money for straight forward servicing but ask them anything technical and they don't want to even talk to you. The communication between the front desk and the technicians must be like Chinese whispers because they don't do what you booked the car in for. They think you will be happy because they have washed and hoovered your car leaving the parcel shelf and personal items loose in the boot! They ask what time you would like your car back as if that would make any difference you'll get it when they are ready. The front desk read the job sheet to you but they haven't got a clue what they are saying, when I asked is it safe to drive now she said "I'm sure it is"

If I didn't have to go there to keep the warranty up I wouldn't

Note you don't have to go there to keep your warranty up, all you need to use is a var approved garage who uses ford genuine parts

Could save you hundreds!

Poor Front Desk Lady

Had my focus service a few times and consistent getting poor service from the same very lady. The car wasn't fix by the promised time and no call back to inform me an ETA.

Last time, I had a bonnet lock problem. They said they replace it with a new one, but I can see the same old lock in place after the repair. So this ford main dealer charged me a new lock + labour cost but in fact they just repaired the old lock.

Most annoying for me is the attitude from the lady. As soon I have completed they payment she asked me to leave using a very bad tone.

Most Disappointing Dealers Ever

Terrible and disgusting attitude from the staff members. I would advice and call on anybody who is looking to secure a deal with ALLEN FORD especially SWINDON branch to AVOID them completely. I purchased a ford C-max nothing but Dodgy deal to start with. A few weeks ago I had a dreadful experience after my car audio stopped working and decided to call them the list is endless from having the worst customer service, the after sales team didn't see me as a future potential customer. After taking my car for a diagnostic test they concluded that the display unit system needed to be replaced they washed off their hands saying that I should bear the full cost. remember they will promise you anything and everything to make their sales targets and deliver nothing.be warned.

Beyond Terrible

We have a fleet of vehicles of which we have been told by the fleet company must be taken to Alan Ford for repairs/servicing etc. We have been using them for a couple years now and each and every time they fail to complete even the simplist of tasks. We take vans in for service only for them to say it has been done when in fact they haven't, ask for wiper blades and door seals to be replaced (far too difficult for them) but they say they have done this when they havent. Ask for a latch to a van door to be fixed takes them 4 weeks, they say the van is ready for 5pm to collect, 18:30 and still waiting. Never will we be taking our vehicles to this place again. The staff at the front desk are equally as bad, lose keys, forget where vegicles are,rude and just point blankly couldn't give a damn. Avoid this place at all costs!

Very Positive Experience Of Buying Car

My husband and I decided to pay a visit to Allen Ford Swindon in October 2015 to look at the new shape Ford Focus purely to see if we liked it because, having read a number of negative reviews on this site, we had every intention of buying elsewhere.

However, from the moment we arrived, we could not fault the customer service. The receptionist greeted us the minute we walked through the door and immediately found us a salesman to discuss the Focus with us. We were given clear information on purchasing both new and used vehicles ... and coffee was frequently supplied!!! The two salesmen that we dealt with were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and, although the showroom was due to close, time was not an issue.

We were offered to test drive a Focus we liked ... and the salesman went out of his way to encourage both of us to drive it as he stressed the importance of both of us being happy with it. On our return to the garage, he demonstrated the auto parking function to us along with various other functions. It was a detailed test drive/demonstration of the car which we found very helpful.

We were so impressed with the car we drove that we purchased it on that first visit and part exchanged our own vehicle!! However, unlike another reviewer's experience,, we found the garage was extremely keen to negotiate on price/extras to close the deal.

The whole process from arriving at the garage ... to collecting the car two days later was extremely efficient and problem free. We are delighted with the car and the whole experience was great!! Our visit was so informative and enjoyable that we would not hesitate to purchase another car from Allen Ford in Swindon!!

Never Again

Just don't know where to start , I'd be here all night , if it wasn't for my 18 month new van being under warranty I'd never want to go near this garage again or by a van or car from them ,They don't even no the meaning of customer service , 20 minute job and had the van running into its third week bunch of jokers , nothing seems to get done don't buy or use from this garage
