I have purchased many cars over the years and my car buying experience at Andy Mohr Avon Nissan was the worst I could imagine. I genuinely believe if you are a woman in your 50s they will discriminate against you. This place needs to be investigated by the BBB. The car itself is nice, it’s the dealership that is the issue. I started an application online. I did not finish it, but the Internet Sale Specialist, called me off of the limited information that I added. I told her what I was looking at and for what price and she confirmed that they had it. We set up with appointment/test drive for 4:30. I left work an hour early and drove 53 miles for the appointment. The sales person, who was very nice, clearly did not know that I had an appointment because I had to wait 30 minutes for the test drive. She asked about financing, and I had to let her know that the application had been sent and the specialist confirmed receipt. She said after the test drive that her manager needed to know why I was not trading in my car. I’m at a loss as to why it’s her managers business why I’m not trading in my car. The manager, then presented me with a cost and payments that was way off from what was advertised and what was had shared the night before. When I told him that, he started to grill me and asked if I had recently graduated from college. It became very clear that in spite of my very good credit and large down payment the manager is really interested in selling to college students. Since I was clearly financially qualified to buy the car, I can only assume he was openly discriminating against me and I felt humiliated and embarrassed. I would warn any woman buying a car that is not a college student and not with a man to stay away from Andy Mohr Avon Nissan. I left the dealership without the car and then the manager called repeatedly until I answered. He said that he could get me within $500 of the price I was promised the night before and 2.17% financing. I agreed because of the amount of time that I had already spent over an hour at this point, and the distance I had traveled. They kept me waiting another much longer to do the paperwork. All told, it took almost 2 and a half hours to buy this car. I was so exasperated and uncomfortable with this process I just wanted to move through the process quickly. I should have looked at the paperwork much more closely, because the finance charge appears to be 2.71% - not the 2.17% the manager promised to get me to come back. I am writing this experience everywhere I can and am telling anyone that will listen. They did not honor any part of what they said they would. Again – the car is nice but the dealership is unethical and was just a horrible place.

This Was Our Best Car Buying Experience. They List
This was our best car buying experience. They listened to our needs and met them without a lot of endless waiting for an answer from someone in another room.

This Is To The Guy Above>> Did You Even Give Them
This is to the guy above>> Did you even give them a chance to negotiate with you or did you just leave on the first deal. Most the time if you give them a chance they will work with you unless you are a prick about it then they won't. I have bought 2 cars from them and they have beat any deal out there and I was treated fairly.

I Don't Know About The Other Sales Associates At A
I don't know about the other sales associates at Andy Mohr Toyota, but the one I dealt with was the rudest person I've ever met. This man was annoyed because I wanted to test drive a vehicle and when I test drove it, he rolled down the windows and turned on the AC full blast in an attempt to hide a grinding noise coming from the back of the used car I was looking at. When I told him I didn't want the car, he got very nasty with me and told me I could have a nice day and I was basically kicked off the lot, even though I had asked to see other cars.
I recently visited the Andy Mohr Avon Toyota dealership. The sales representative was very helpful in explaining the features of the '07 Camry LE as we test drove the vehicle. I then asked for the best price the dealership could give me on the new car with the options I listed. They returned with a "best price" over $1400 higher than another Toyota dealer had offered me. It doesn't sound like they were really serious about selling me the new Camry. Obviously, I purchased the car elsewhere.
