I bought a new sportage from northwich told fill the tank which I had to pay 25 pound for they would tax it which I paid for and would supply new matts which they wonted me to pay for after telling they would throw them in no matts no tax no free tank also a brand new car with only one key that worked one month on still awaiting m new key don't go there there bad news as you will find out if you go good luck

I spoke to Arnold Clark on the phone about a Ford Focus zetec , I explained I have a back disease which make travelling very difficult for me, 2 hour journey, the guy I was talking to about the car said the car was in excellent condition with full service history and had its cam belt changed, and said there were no problems with the car. Arrived there to be giving the key to look, the key did not work, the car had scratches all over the body, had the traction control light on the dash and the ecu mangament light, the revometer did not work and was sticking. So even after I had explained my situation I had been totally lied to, and there car was not in decent shape to even be advertised let alone sold. Avoid at all costs.

All Brakes On Corsa Have Manufacturers Issues.
I bought a car and within a few weeks my brakes started making a grinding noise. I took it back on 3 separate occasions and eventually the mechanic was honest and said they could not solve the problem as its a Vauxhall manufacturing problem with the material the brakes are made out of. They never mentioned this when I was buying the car. Do not buy a car from arnold Clark, as soon as they have your money they don't want to know any problems and constantly lie. They are not willing to help out and the customer service is very poor. I am left with a car that makes horrendous grinding noises every time I brake. It's a common problem so the mechanic and sales guys say but I have relations who have the same car and do not have the same issues. I think it's fact it's under warranty that they do not want to spend any more to resolve my problems. I repeat, never buy a car from Arnold Clark. They never told the truth when I was buying the car and mis led me to believe the car was in perfect condition with no problems.

Was Told To Put A £100 Deposit Down To Secure A Ca
Was told to put a £100 deposit down to secure a car which I paid in cash, was told the money would be handed back to me with no problem if I didn't take up the car. When I didn't buy the car I had to return to the store 5 times to receive my deposit back and was finally handed a cheque which I had to wait 5 days to clear. No mention of this from the salesman who asked me to pretend to be his friend so that he could get more commission! Up on complaining I was laughed at and told "see you later pal". No professionalism. Avoid at all costs

Your Word Against Theirs - Stupid Me
Not being fully aware of the modern tactics of car salesmen, I bought a used car from this dealership at Northwich, with additional cost of £25 for petrol.
My advice, don't pay the petrol fee. I didn't get £25 of petrol at forecourt prices. I had to stop at a filling station just to get the car home. The salesman simply valued the dregs of petrol in the tank as being worth £25 and even offered me a receipt for £25 when I questioned the fact the gauge was near empty.
I wouldn't go near them again.

Saw a car on the web and travelled over 40 minutes to see the car in Northwich. Before going checked with an online representative of the car was still available. Was told it was. Got to Northwich and asked to see it only to be told in a very blasé manner that it had been sold a couple of weeks previously. When I said that it was still online and have checked with an online representative, I was told, 'he wouldn't know'. No apology was given. Very private customer service

Incompetent At Best
Took the car to arnold clark for two front tyres... Took over 2 hours to fit (normally takes 30 min). Damaging the alloys in the process. On arriving home found they had actually changed the rear tyres. After 6 phones calls over 2 days including 2 hours on the phone, i was advised by the manager that I had been done a favour and his mechanics thought the front had more tread on them than the rears.
Unlikely since the front were bald on the edges due to a tracking issue. Also the fact that these are run flat tyres and may well have been destroyed on the inside didn't seem to phase them.
Arnold Clark Northwich, incompetent at best. Dangerous and lethal at even the most basic jobs.
