Utter Shambles
Bought car from AC Feb 2021 and service and mot due Nov 21 got it booked into Stretford branch, dropped off 11am told them I be back 4pm need car for work, no call or update 1530pm so I called them, told it wasn't going to pass MOT which kinda annoyed me considering I bought it off them not many month earlier, ended up having to pay over the odds prices to get it sorted, got back to collect Car totally ignored by staff .. waited over 1 hour finally got car back. Felt I was treated poorly ignored yet months earlier when I bought car they couldn't do enough for you though that was a different site, I will not use again very disappointed and felt no customer service at all.

what a shambles of customer services.
The express sercive check-in doesn't work.
Then they have this crazy system whereby you are allocated a service person and only that one will see to you.So if they have 2 or 3 customers to deal with, you have to wait whilst 2 or 3 other staff sit around doing nothing.
Who devised this ?
Have never waited so long, or had to put up with
Staff were courteous & technical people gave good advice but the whole process undermined by this daft and inefficient approach

Bought a car from arnold clark stretford, peugeot rcz coupe paid cash all gushing when you are buying, try and get after care, you have got no chance what so ever, i had the car 4 weeks when the parking sensor failed
i telephoned 7 times in the first week, 2nd week i telephoned one day i tried to explain to the receptionist that i need my car and could not leave it with them all day, reply came back its not my problem!!!!! They did not even offer me an alternative regarding a replacement for the day of pick up from your place of work, this would have solved the problem, week 3 someone from serfvice did ring me, next came e mail, requesting i take my car in on 28th march, 2017, this would have been 5 weeks for a small repair. I have now had to have the repair done at my own expense, which took all of 5 minutes. Please please please do not buy from this company you will be buying a big head ache if anying goes wrong.

Recently bought a Corsa from Arnold Clark Stretford,salesperson really helpful in keeping to our tight budget. Overall experience was great.
Happy with the car so far. Have used Arnold Clark at another franchise and had good service each time. Would definitely recommend Arnold Clark.
I particularly liked Stretford, they have the cars inside and was well looked after, sales person well experienced with finance and friendly. Keep up the good work.

Dreadful After Sales Service
Don't buy from Arnold Clark Stretford. The service is appauling. The staff are unhelpful,disrespectful and don't know the meaning of customer service. They never apologise for any inconvenience.I tried to call the service department the other day and waited for over 10 minutes. I kept being passed from reception switchboard to a ringing tone and then back to reception again. The receptionist took down my details and said that the Service Manager would call me back and surprise, surprise he didn't.

BOUGHT A ZAFIRA COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAW THAT IT NEEDED A RECALL FOR THE HEATER. BOOKED IN AND LEFT THE CAR WITH THEM. THEY CALLED LATER THAT DAY SAYING THAT THERE WAS A BAD OIL LEAK AND CAR NEEDED ALL SORTS DOING TO IT. WENT TO PICK IT UP AS MY CLOSE FRIEND IS MECHANIC AND DIDNT WANT TO PAY THEIR RIDICULOUS PRICES (£35+VAT FOR A DIP STICK) AND CAR WOULDNT START....OR EVEN TURN OVER. THEY PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT THEIR WAS A FAULT WITH THE BATTERY AND I NEED A NEW ONE. I THEN TOLD THEM IT HAD STARTED FIRST TIME EVERYTIME SINCE I GOT IT AND WANTED TO KNOW HOW THE BATTERY WAS EMPTY. THEY TRIED FOBBING ME OFF WITH NONSENSE. THEY THEN JUMP STARTED IT AND I PROMPTLY LEFT. THIS WAS 2 MONTHS AGO AND SURE ENOUGH ITS STARTED FIRST TIME EVERYTIME SINCE. I TOOK IT TO MY FRIENDS GARAGE TO LOOK AT ALL THESE "PROBLEMS". HE TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND IT LOOKED LIKE THERE HAD BEEN OIL SPILT DOWN THE ENGINE PURPOSELY TO GET ME TO HAVE WORK DONE. TAKE YOUR CAR THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK......YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, COMPLETE RIP OFF MERCHANTS (PROBABLY DUE TO ME GOING IN FOR A "FREE" RECALL)
Same happend me.. 22nd September 2016 my car was fine when I took it in and now I've been told my clutch has gone when my brothers a mechanic and he checked the car over he said it was fine the night before they deliberately tampered with my clutch for me to have it done. Now I can't change gears properly and they aren't taking any responsibilities for it. again oil was spilled on it too to say I have a bad leak which again I didn't have all in all they quoted me 2500 for the work to be done! Absolute rip off and I'd never go back my car came out worse then it went in!

Rip Off Merchants
My spare keys which were bought from them 4 yrs ago not working with central locking system.I was given a new battery which still didn't work.Advised them the frequently used keys(6 years old) still worked.They came up with several excuses and advised me I would need a new key(Total cost £143)My brother in law opened the keys turned the battery and Hey Presto the Central locking system works. Just because I am a female they thought they could get away with it.

After having my car serviced end of March was told I needed a new water pump as I told them it was leaking water. They would also change the gasket. The part I needed came In May so May 20th arrived at 7.30am and was told would be 2pm when it was ready. Received a call at 11am to say it was ready so was pleasantly surprised as I could go in my lunch break. They even cleaned and valeted the car. I said to the receptionist is there new staff here as reviews had not been favourable. Hoping Arnold Clark keep up the good work and look forward to the next time I service my car. The car was still under warranty so was FOC.t

Extremely Poor After Sales Service
Agreed to buy the car and as per previous reviewer was dealt with professionally. Travelled to Manchester Stretford showroom and once I had paid balance was left sat on my own for 15 mins. Went to car for handover and found that the car was devoid of fuel. Told hand over sales man that the agreement was for fuel and told to take up with sales person who sold me the car who was not working that day.
Followed this up with telephone calls and emails. Promises on telephone to send a cheque to cover missing fuel never arrived.
Emails chasing this were not answered. Very very poor after sales service and failure to honour agreed sale extras
Would have used them again if i had not been treated so poorly after the sale.
Because of this I will not use them again and would not recommend anyone else doing so.
