Bad Service

I bought a secondhand car in January 2024 - It cost a lot of money

The car was parked on their forecourt for a few months and they could not start it as the battery was dead.

They jumped it so I could test drive it.

When I collected it the battery seemed fine - I have had nothing but problems with the battery since collecting it - the wing mirror never open.

I was offered a free extended warranty - which I took up.

I called out the breakdown service to start the car on Friday and they charged it.

I drove it for 2 hours on Saturday - Sunday - broke down again as the battery was dead.

Deep charged it over night

Drove the car on Tuesday - seemed OK to begin with then the mirrors would not open (again)

Went to start it again today and the battery was DEAD again

It is my 60th Birthday this weekend and we need the car to go away

Eden cannot resolve it in time so I have to buy a new battery and get it fitted.

I asked if they will refund the cost and to say they were unhelpful is an understatement

Thank God for local garages - Central in Brixham have helped me and are brilliant

Unlike the service I have received from Eden Motor Group in Newton Abbot

The cars advertised under the 0% offer are not available. They try to change the model to a lesser specification with fewer features with out you noticing then blame marketing dept. Be very careful to get the car you think your buying.

Very Poor

Took my car in with engine warning light over a month ago. AA diagnosed as egr valve fault. They replaced an air box, water pump, cam belt and turbo at a cost of 2.5k. They said there is nothing wrong with the egr valve. Has been back 4 times with the light on again....guess what, egr valve needs replacing! And can you believe they want to charge me?

Poor technical ability. Poor customer service. Don't listen to the customer. Only 12 courtesy cars for 40 customers.

Indifferent Customer Service

The Customer Service offered by Eden Motor Group is probably the worst in the industry. Once they have you money they are totally uninterested in dealing with any problems, unhelpful and inflexible. It is a pity for Vauxhall that they represented by such an incompetent dealer.
