Exceptionally Poor Customer Se,rvice

I have purchased two vehicles at Hitchin Audi, and had my vehicle serviced annually. However, on having a recent issue with my vehicle where I needed urgent help, I was unable to speak to anyone, have had no response despite using their online chat (just a "someone will call, I can't help) and was offered an appointment in early May (over 3 months from the date of the issue). Extremely disappointed, will take my custom elsewhere.

Absolutely Terrible

What was supposed to a nice gift to my partner turned into a complete nightmare when I purchased a car from Jardine Motors Audi in Hitchin. Staff were rude, unorganised and the used car I purchased riddled with problems. Despite an apparent 145 point check, we drove away with a car which had a cracked windscreen (instant MOT fail), faulty handbrake (which nearly caused a serious accident with a young child onboard). It required a new a windscreen, new exhaust, new timing chain, handbrake adjustment, 2 new tyres (we drove away with 2 slow punctures), alloy refurbs, new boot handle and still we have issues with brakes and wheel balance. Original documents were also lost. To top it off, the company still believes this is satisfactory. Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst company... not just car dealership... I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. As you can imagine my partner is over the moon with her gift which spent 1.5 weeks in the garage within the first few weeks of ownership. To add insult to injury, they feel a couple of free services (which we probably won't use because we won't own the car that long) is ample compensation. Jardine Motors is a franchise so don't expect the Audi standard.

Very helpful and caring staff. Dealt with Collins and nothing was too much trouble. Loved the coffee. Felt welcome and are very satisfied Wight our new Q3.

Poorly Managed Dealership

We were booked in to test drive a vehicle, only to arrive and find that the vehicle in question was unavailable. Very poor customer service. Waste of time.

The same happened to me on the same day! I had two test drives cancelled earlier in the week then I was told that the third was cancelled. After some discussion I got my test drive!

Very Poor Customer Service

I purchased my A3 from this dealership in March and, whilst the sales process was efficient, my experience since has been extremely disappointing.

The car developed a rattle/vibration within three weeks. Hitchin Audi had the car back to investigate but couldn't find the cause. As soon as I drove the car off their forecourt when I went to collect it, it started rattling.

I tried to get the car booked in again but tried on several occasions to contact their Service Department without success - I either got a recorded message, or the phone rang without anyone bothering to pick it up.

I finally managed to speak to someone who told me that the Service Manager would call me back. That was about six weeks ago and I am still waiting.

I wrote to the individual who, according to their website was the Head of Business to complain about the lack of response but, after a fortnight, hadn't received a reply to that letter either. I subsequently learned that the gentleman had left the dealership on May but that my complaint would be referred to the new Head of Business.

I have heard nothing.

This dealership seem very happy to sell you a car, but don't expect them to offer the 'exceptional customer service' advertised on their website (by the Head of Business who left three months ago)...........

Having looked forward to collecting my nearly new car A6 Audi, I collected it in the dark, tip 1 never collect in the dark. I paid for the paint work to body glazed, waste of money as this was never done. I returned the car for them to do this again or correctly, only to find on collection that they had polished it with a machine swirls all over.

If you are having this glaze done at this garage DO NOT. This work is done out the back by inexperienced people. I would seriously consider having it done at a professional valeted company.
