Now Called Joori Cars- Selling Dangerous Cars

This company have now changed their name from jmr autos to joori cars. Sold us a car, after 4 days were having difficulty changing gears, car smelt strongly of diesel and made clunking sound when cornering. We asked a local garage to check it for us, much to our horror they reported that the car had previously been involved in a major accident. Front sub-frame severely damaged, suspension severely damaged, diesel leak, gear cables cable tied, bolts loose, etc. Seriously a death trap. Reported this to joori cars, who denied there was anything wrong with the car. However when we threatened trading standards they sent a tow truck to collect within an hour!!

Now after promising a refund, and sending us fake confirmation of a bank transfer that never happened, we are taking them to court. Don't hold out much hope of getting our £8000 back though. Absolute criminals. Stay clear!!!

Still Not Received V5! Dvla Unaware Car Was Sold To Me!

I recommend that you DO NOT buy any vehicles from this absolutely horrendous piece of sheet dealership!!!!

I bought a VW Golf from them in January 2014, got the car checked over and it was all fine, looked through all the paperwork and it was all fine. Left the money with the dealer while I returned my mothers car to her so that I could come back and pick up the car I purchased.... Here's where the trouble started.

Upon returning to the car(It had been raining heavily for a few hours), I noticed that the rear passenger footwell had what I can only explain as a POND! Where all of the rain water had somehow leaked in! and yes all the windows/sunroof was closed securely.

I returned it to the dealer who hastily cleaned it out ensuring that it was all clear and dried up and advised that water was coming in via a loose part above the door which they repaired free of charge and on the spot... THIS DID NOT WORK... tbc.

Anyway I bought the car in January, signed the V5 doc and left it with the dealer to send off... It's now April 7th 2014 and I have not received anything! Zit, Zero, zilch! I called the DVLA many times and they have no record of this car being sold to me... my road tax had expired on 31st March 2014 and the car has been sitting in my driveway unable to be driven.

Word of advice DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Should Not Be Allowed To Trade!

I bought an Alfa from them for the better part of £1,500. Realised when I got home that the headlights didn't work - I'd picked up the car in the evening, was told by 'the boss' that he had been driving the car around. The (full beam) headlights had been on when I'd started the car to leave. As soon as I did find out that there was a fault with the lights, I contacted the man that sold me the car and was told simply that there was no problem with the lights. Changed the bulbs at Halfords hoping that it was just something simple like blown bulbs. No difference. Booked it into a garage - serious electrical fault.

4 weeks and 3 days after buying the car radiator blows on my way to work. Pressure build up in the water system and lots of leaking gaskets and valves.

I'm sure that I could have hired a car for 5 weeks for much less than £1,500!

I am so angry that this garage has ripped me off completely and refused any help - 3 whole days over a month after buying from them! The stock response that I have had from them on the rare occasions that they do answer my calls is 'You didn't take extended warranty!' I was able to drive this car to work (about 20 miles) and back 21 times. It would cost me more to repair than the car is worth.

JMR Autos sell cars which are not fit for the road. I thought that in this country this was a criminal offence. I WILL be taking legal action against them.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I wish I saw this prior to buying my car from them.... They've now taken down their website and all the contact numbers I use to try to get hold of them are inactive. I wonder if they are still operating out of the same industrial estate?
