As with other reviews out there all starts out great. Typical dealer banter etc and then after exchange this is when trouble starts. These guys are simply not interested in hearing any issues you have once the money has cleared. I would strongly suggest that you go elsewhere and spend your money with a reputable dealer. YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF AT THE TAIL END OF A BAD DEAL. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

numerous problems with car, heated seat not working, seat height adjuster not working, strut tops perished, one tyre barely legal, window regulator went, no working horn, still no joy nearly 2 months later. gone to small claims court now

I Bought A Mercedes-benz Slk 350
Over the last 15 years I have bought my cars from this company. All I can say is that they have looked after me. I have just bought a new one on the Feb 2015 and all the car needed was 4 new tyres which they paid for. Can't ask for much more than that. Would recommend them to anybody, especially my family.

Shocking experience. Purchased a vehicle that developed a major error within 2 weeks. A local mechanic established that the engine had been butchered ( a diesel injector ). Johnson's staff ridiculed a repair. Upon further inspection of MOT certificates it was further discovered that the odometer had been clocked! I have a document dated 28/07/2010 that shows the mileage on the vehicle to be 87823 but when I subsequently purchased the vehicle on 14/05/2011 the mileage was 58260.
Oh yes the staff were very helpful until the purchase was completed. If you only take heed from 1 review PLEASE make it this one. It cost me £6000 + £350 to initially repair this pile of scrap! Ps. I am a university lecturer not an average Joe with an axe to grind.

Don't Buy If You Live Too Far Away
Their warranty stipulates you must return the vehicle to them for repair, no good if you live miles away.
I bought a car with a 3 month warranty which soon developed an engine problem, had it fixed locally and requested a contribution to the cost. Unsurprisingly this was not forthcoming as all warranty issues need to be inspected by the garage.
Not much good if you use the car daily and live some distance from them - especially if continuing to drive the vehicle could cause more damage.
Wishful thinking that a garage would fulfil it's moral obligation rather than the letter of the law.
