Amazing Customer Service

I have recently purchased a used car from Lindop Bros Queensferry, The sales man was so helpful and provided a professional, caring, brilliant service. Also when he handed over to Tammy, she was professional , curtious and gave a brilliant customer experience.

I would recommend this branch of Toyota to anyone. They go over and above to ensure the customer has a brilliant experience

Poor Service, Poor Communication.

Having purchased a car part and then paid extra for it to be delivered to a specific store, this did not happen. The staff were blunt, and not willing to apologize for the inconvenience and extra cost that had occurred.

Hugely disappointing.

Once They Have Your Money, They Couldn't Care Less

The title says it all. Patronising and useless 'service' - a bastion of muppetry. The Toyota Yaris we bought is (apart from the stereo), slightly more powerful than if we were pedalling it ourselves. However, it is the set up that is of greatest concern. The fact that these people have jobs is the only counter argument to UKIP that a person ever needs!

The advice on writing a review suggests that I think about what I like and what I don't like about this company. This is easy - i like nothing about this company nor the moral vacuum it represents.

What A Waste Of Time An Energy!

After reading the other negative reviews on here I was hoping that my experience with Lindop Toyota Queensferry would be different. Well at least I got my deposit back!

After taking my deposit I was informed that the used car I was purchasing had private plates which the previous owner was putting onto retention for his new vehicle. After making enquiries with the DVLA I was made aware that they hadn't even received the application and that the plates were still assigned to that car. Furthermore, the whole process could take between four to six weeks.

Concerned that we would have a long wait without the use of the car, the salesman kindly offered us the use of a courtesy car of at least the same size as the Corolla we were purchasing in the interim. They also agreed to provide insurance for this as my insurance was about to expire.

Upon returning to collect the courtesy car I was allocated a Ford Fiesta – clearly smaller than the Corolla I had put a deposit on. I was also told that the insurance excess would be £500 (more that the £150 excess on my private insurance). After complaining they agreed to reduce the excess to £150 and to allocate me a Corolla. However, the Corolla was one of the used cars on their forecourt that had not been through any safety checks. We were not impressed, got our deposit back and walked away!

Lindop Toyota Avoid

what a bad experience from start to finish and it continues! Purchased a motorhome from Lindop in Queensferry and evreything was smiles and hand shakes until i handed over the money. The experience went from average to bad very quickly, the motorhome wasnt as described, had a catalogue of faults and the dealership refused to rectify the problems, we paid £35000 for the motorhome. To top it off they told me it had 6 months warranty, I tried to make a claim today and the warranty provider said they dont deal with Lindop and the warranty doesnt exist!

I Contacted Lindop's Queensferry Branch To Travel

I contacted Lindop's Queensferry branch to travel 100 miles to buy a 2009 Yaris TR D. On arrival, the car was scruffy, two body scrapes, kerbed wheeltrims and unready for sale. Worse still, the car had done 8000 miles more than advertised. It had been used by an employee since it had been traded in. To me, that makes it two owners except that the dealer doesn't register it! You might expect that the dealer would be prepared to drop the price but no chance. They dropped the agreed price on my mint trade-in so that I would have to pay more for an inferior car! The salesman was apologetic but the sales manager was arrogant and full of sales bull! He made feeble excuses for incompetance. I wasted a day with this dealer.
