Push, Pull & Drag Just A Gimmick
TL;DR: Website gave us one price on a SUV and very little info to suggest hidden fees/discounts like Push, Pull & Drag. Sales associate revealed their pricing trickery due to an “administrative error” on the website. We didn’t enjoy being tricked and asked for our trade-in keys back. Sales associate held us and our trade-in hostage to get us a better deal and explain how we are wrong even though their website is confusing and has no disclosure on how display pricing works.
We researched their inventory before going to the dealership. Found a 2010 Ford Escape for $16,900. Looked at their Push, Pull & Drag policy and figured we had found a sweet deal. Went to the dealership, test drove the SUV, selected the color and sat down to start the process. First we were told that Push, Pull & Drag wouldn’t apply to this SUV, but the sales associate would see what When we were shown the starting price, which was not on a sticker but was listed on their website, it below our mind. Their website showed the price to be much lower than the price they wrote down. When we disputed this we were told we were wrong, that the website explains all of this. We were told that website pricing reflects discounts including the minimum amount for Push, Pull & Drag trade-ins - even though we were told the SUV doesn't apply to their trade-in program. My wife and I explained that their website in no way reflects any of this. When it became obvious we were being tricked we asked for our keys so we could leave. The sales associate said sure and rushed out of his office very quickly. We waited for 8 to 10 minutes before my wife lost patience and asked where our keys were to any employee that walked by. This is when Mr. Medved came over with the sales associate shook my wife's hand very hard and said "Let me explain how our trade-in program works." At this point we were done and didn't appreciate that our keys were being held hostage so that a "better" deal could be had and to be told we didn't read their website correctly. At this point my wife said loud enough to be heard by many people in the main showroom, "I don't appreciate being held hostage for a better deal - like I asked before, get my keys NOW!" We received our keys and left. About 20 minutes later my cell phone rang with the sales associate calling to say that their website was wrong due to a clerical error and due to this they would honor the pricing we came in expecting to receive. At this point we were not willing to give them any of our money.

Moved To Colorado Last Year,... My Little Ford Had
Moved to Colorado last year,... my little Ford had worked good for me the last few years but this winter the snows been really crazy. I finally realized that my car needed antilock brakes when I slid half way into an intersection and all wheel drive when I got stuck at the bottom of the drive way backing out... I went to MedVed Autoplex for help. They were friendly and not overly aggressive with their sales technique... They took time to explain to me what the features of the different cars were. I did purchase a four door sexy new car with all wheel drive and anti lock brakes. I have been very happy. My payment was right and I feel I got a good price on my trade in (even though I didn't need to push, pull or drag it since it was still running...lol). i'd recommend this place to friends.

Bottom Line, If You Want To Be Totally Upside Down
Bottom line, if you want to be totally upside down in your car, buy your car from Medved. To make matters worse, John Medved is the biggest hoosier of the whole lot. Push, pull or drag yourself to a different dealership. This one will cause you to overpay for years for trusting them.
I found this review not helpful because the writer must not reallize EVERYone ends up upside down when they drive a car off the lot... i knew that before i got my license 17 years ago... Did u have crappy credit and owe a bunch on your trade?? lame review...

We Needed A Minivan For Our Large Family. We Were
We needed a minivan for our large family. We were having a hard time finding something in our price range so we thought we would go to Medved. They had one Kia minivan that was "just traded in" That should have been the first warning. From there we spent 8 hours getting the deal worked out. In that time they wouldnt try to detail the car or check the brakes which I mentioned when we test drove. They said it was proabably a lose sensor and I could come in during the weekend. When I went back the following weekend because I couldnt get the time off work I was told by the service advisior I shouldnt have drvien the car off the lot if I thought there was a break problem. Will never recommend to anyone they buy from Medved.

I Negotiated A Price On The Phone Before Driving 1
I negotiated a price on the phone before driving 120 miles to Medved Wheat Ridge Car Dealership in Colorado to purchase a vehicle. Upon arrival salesperson was switched on me. Salesperson did not answer questions in a straightforward manner. Upon signing papers, the price was completely different from negotiated price. Would not honor the negotiation. Wonderful car, questionable service.
